Brother you really gave Incredible knowledge on this stuff. And thus makes me sad that someone cost this person a lot of money because of a mistake and they did not own up to it. Let us know the cost of this fix, please.
What is a bad driver? Just had my cat replaced under a Dodge recall. O2 sensor code came up. Mechanic used an NTK. Same code. Another shop checked all the wiring which came back good. 2 recommendations were 1) Factory Dodge O2 sensor 2) PCM. Replaced the O2 sensor with the Dodge one, still have the O2 sensor code. Now I have a P103b after replacing the O2 sensor. Any thoughts?
Drivers are in the computer and control ground to certain components to turn them on and off. Did you have an O2 sensor code before they changed the catalytic converter as far as P103B if you did not have that before they either unplugged, a solenoid broke a solenoid or messed up the wiring
Yes. The O2 sensor code was there before the cat was changed. Swapped to the Dodge O2 sensor yesterday, and the code is still up along with the P103b now. Car is running find no missing, idles and runs fine, fuel economy is the same as it's always been. The code also said Manufacturer Control. Thank you.😊
