2014 Dodge RAM 1500 LED interior lights upgrade installation

4x 194/T10 bulbs and 1x 4410 festoon bulb needed. This was installed on a 2014 Dodge RAM 1500 Big Horn.
EDIT: The rear dome light notch where you put the screwdriver in is on the driver's side, not the passenger side as stated.

I put an LED bulb in my map light and it worked for 4 seconds and stopped. Now my oem bulb won't work either. Any thoughts?

I did all this, but screwed something up because now my plastic piece won't click. It appears I accidentally pushed the click part through the assembly. Any ideas? Thanks.

Jason Grozier you most likely broke off a piece of the plastic. if you can't click and turn the lights on, you will probably need to purchase a new plastic piece online or from the dealership

I forgot to take notice with the stock ones do the lights only come on if the key on ?

Question for anyone that may know I have 2014 ram 1500 sport hemi loaded and the vehicle sale description said "interior led lights" The passanger map light is flickering and now dimmed almost all the way off. Has anyone else had this problem

maltasfinest85 try taking off the cover to see if the bulb is loose, then try rotating it. try replacing it with your other map light bulb. if that doesn't fix it then you probably have a bad bulb.

Just looked There is not bulk it's a flat led I can't take out

not sure wha the bulb looks like but you should be able to pull it out or pull the fasteners apart to release the bulb

maltasfinest85 I have the exact same problem, also on a 2014 1500 Sport. passenger map light flickering and very dimmed. Did you end up finding a fix for it?

Hi Fellas .. I have same problem with Brand New 2014 1500 Laramie Longhorn .. the passenger light keeps dimming . .and flickers .. wtf .. 60K truck . and the Passenger light flickers .. not good !

+James Prunty check your bulbs to make sure they're in tight and maybe try turning them 180 degrees, then check your fuses

if you have the stock led bulbs that are permanent. I had the same problem it was a faulty panel they had to replace the whole map assembly. it would consistently flicker with the dome lights turned on. and when the door was open it would be really dim and flicker.

nick Guajardo I didn't receive a message like that. It's possible the new bulbs can throw off an error message but I haven't heard of this with interior bulbs, only with exterior bulbs that draw more power

Just buy the Canbus version of the LED bulbs you need. You won't get the errors with Canbus bulbs.

Well Tyler you are correct! In 2009 Dodge and Ram became separate brands....but, IMO, true Mopar fans will always call it "DODGE RAM"

Shit is annoying. Its been a damn dodge ram since the beginning, it'll always still be a "dodge" its still owned by chrysler so what difference does it make?
