I bought one to commute and then give to my son when he passed his test. He thought it was a girls car as well. I told him that girls love the 500 and will love him driving one as 'a bad man would never drive a fiat 500'. Little do the know.

What would you prefer, 1.2 or 1.4?

if its just a round town car it wouldn't make a whole lot of difference, but i suppose i would go for the 1.4

They go well 60 in 2nd gear just but you need to rev it out , its fun much better than my old Hyundai i10 which was an Old persons car lol

It's a non turbo 1.2 making 69 bhp, having said that. It's fun to drive and as others have said you have to rev it to get it moving. But that's the fun bit !

Well,dunno bout it being a girls car but in the city that is what u want.Funnier to drive small car with little engine to its full potential than drive a big car and just sit and watch the fuel guage leaning towards zero in londons traffic .Maybe thats why u see one in every corner here.Havent noticed it to be girls car....:-))))More like drive to the city and park /squeeze everywhere kinda car..

Guy in that Passat at the 15min mark is suicidal , what worries me is there's a lot of angry young men drug or drink driving nowadays ! very scary

Not a girls car at all unless you buy the Pink one with Eyelashes' on the headlights LOL the Abarth versions the one the guys buy as i know for sure i would not be able to drive a car with over 100bhp it would be too fast for me as a girl.
