Yea Ford did quite the number on these trucks. I have a 2008 F-450 and i had a guy come out to make me a met and the key works and the alarm/security disarmed. When you go to start it nothing would happen though. I went to the battery on the passenger side and unhooked the started connector behind the battery going towards the firewall and I made a jumper to clamp onto the lead and the other side I tapped to the positive battery post. No keys the truck started and I let it run for 30 min, turned it off and started it back using my key the locksmith had made. Go figure.
All you have to do is reconnect the the harness on steering coulomb it gets loose sometimes it’s on opposite side off the key under plastic you have to rip or remove plastic you will see harness check all connections
This happened with my work truck.. it's a freakin 2018 F-450 same thing ot would start with the factory remote start but wont start with the key nor let you shift into gear so because you have an aftermarket remote start system it at least let's you drive.. for me hell no we had it towed to the dealer and idk what ever happened to the truck lol
did u find out why it went into anti theft mode? i have mine stranded where no tow truck is willing to drive to bring it back home. unluckily i dont have a remote start
@@Mudmonkeyrepair mi f350 da el siguiente error: OPERACIÓN ARRANQUE FALLA. Eso es lo que me aparece en el tablero de instrumentos, Te ha pasado alguna vez?
I’m willing to bet one or both of your batteries has gone bad. I mean the actual batteries under the hood, not the ones in the key. Mine did the same thing. Replaced both batteries and the problem never resurfaced.
