A few weeks ago, this new to us (bought 3 weeks prior to this incident), this 2014 Ford Mustang where passenger floorboard is soaking wet, nearly standing water. The drains in the firewall mounted passenger air filter housing were clogged with years of debris, and after a 3.0" night of rain, the water filled the chamber & ran in through the opening.
The filter was clogged, likely not changed, and was musty. The drains were clogged. The sill trim piece was a bear to remove, as all the forums said just to pull up...hard. I did, and broke all four clips. Was able to repair though!
