Join me as I take an in-depth look at the GMC IntelliLink infotainment and navigation system in the 2014 GMC Sierra Denali. Our tester has the new 7-inch LCD gauge cluster and I spend about half the video going over this new option. This new system spreading across GM's Buick, GMC and Chevrolet brands is based on Cadillac CUE. Although the software is essentially the same there are key hardware differences that I go over in the video. Stay tuned for the full review on the Sierra coming up soon.

The reason for the resistive touch rather than capacitive is so you can use the screen with gloves on. Remember, this is a truck....

This runs on BlackBerry QNX Car platform. Same kernel that BlackBerry 10 smartphone runs on.

I have 2015 gmc Denali 6.2... why some others videos with the same car have different cluster .

I'm looking at buying a 2017 GMC Yukon Denali with this system and I'm curious if all of the functions are able to be used while the vehicle is moving. For example, if I look for the nearest restaurants while driving down the highway and more than five show up, can I scroll through ALL of the options? In my current Infiniti, I can't and it's frustrating. Thanks!

Can you delete or take "apps" off of the radio screen? Like Onstar?

Nope. You can hold and press the app and move it to another screen so that it won't be on the same screen as the other apps That is about it.

Any idea how to set a HOME icon in the GPS? Also, when and how will I add icons to the system. thanks in advance

I have a 2014 Sierra Denali and there is a dedicated physical HOME button on the center, right under the screen. Thus there is no need for a HOME icon. I haven't tried adding any external icons, if that's what you mean. You can, however, drag up to 5 hot link icons on the top of any screen, simply hold down an icon from the home screen and drag it to the top.

***** It's ridiculous how G.M. spells 'gauge'. I think they do it for the sake of the letter count. Look at almost any recent G.M. dashboard. Whenever the light test activates I say; "Check gages!", just how it's spelled.

Hello, I have the Base Model 2014 gmc sierra, so I obviously have the base cluster, I am planning on upgrading it to this cluster along with the steering wheel. Any recommendations or advice you'd be able to give me?

I have an oem brand new Denali cluster for sale on eBay if you were still interested check it out. I believe it's under 2014 GMC Sierra Denali cluster

how do you turn on and off the cylinder deactivation mode, I can't stand it, thank you

You can disable it with a "Range AFM" device. It's plugs into your OBDII port, and AFM is disabled as long as the device occupies that port. No flash or tune required.

Or, you can simply use the manual transmission mode and keep it on gear 5 and ithe AFM systems will deactivate.

Has anyone put the 2014 denali gauges in a standard sierra yet!? I'm so anxious to find out if that's possible or not.

I've heard this would require reprogramming the ECM to do so. I've yet to see anyone out there complete this mod. I know the gauge cluster would be very very expensive.
