My 2014 Accord EX-L V6 with almost 178K trouble-free miles was just totaled this week :( I'm going to miss that car, it drove like new right up until the moment it was destroyed. And it protected me in the collision, I came out unscathed. Replacing it with another Accord, but a 2018 Accord Sport.
Man, I don't think you used your turn signal one time lol. For me it's like putting on my seat belt... I'm so used to doing it, I don't even realize it half the time. I always use my turn signals. Why anyone would risk an $80.00-$100.00+ fine and three points on their license, plus the 20+ minutes it takes the cop to run your license and write you a ticket for literally not moving your finger a couple of inches is beyond me?
No cop is gonna pull you over and write you a ticket for not using a turn signal. The only time I could imagine would be at a dangerous intersection or something like that
Well i went for a test drive in one last week in the touring and it wast noisey at all and the technology that the car comes with is really useful.... Its actually a really nice car.
I'm 40 years old, and I have a '13 Accord V6 coupe. It has a powerful V6 engine and it is a quiet ride. However, I need to trade it in for a Accord V6 sedan because I knocked my 22 year old girlfriend up, so now I need a four door car. I will get one without navigation.
I own a 2013 EX-L V6 w/nav. Paid 30k new. The driving feel is much better than my 2012 Camry XLE V6 but the ride is more choppy than the Camry's. Wind noise isn't bad, on par with Camry. Seats are more supportive in Accord vs Camry. I get 34.5 MPG on the hwy w/ the Accord and only 29 MPG hwy in the Camry. The blind spot monitor system is better on Camry, but the right lane watch on the Accord is a nice option too. However, I wish the Accord had a standard BSM. Both cars are super quick but the Accord can take a corner much better than the Camry. Camry has a lot more body roll. Camry has a better sound system and infotainment setup than my Accord. The Accord's infotainment system can be maddening at times. Bottom line, both are great cars and each has some advantages over the other in different areas.
Yeah, you should have bought the Camry SE V6 if you wanted better corning and handling. The XLE give softer ride and does not do well on corners. I did get 34 MPG highway on my 2012 Camry SE V6.
the blind spot on the right side is more severe than the left hand side - left hand - you should be able to peek over quite easily. (in case of left hand drive vehicle like it is here in the US)
Lots of road noise on the Honda. For me it's a tossup between the V6 Camry & Accord, road noise vs. crashworthiness. Having owned both, I'll probably go with another Camry, as road noise just kills it for me.
I have a 2013 EX-L V-6. There is lot of wind noise coming from the B pillar at 60mph plus. This is bar none the loudest vehicle I have ever owned. I really regret buying it and cannot wait to get rid of it in a couple more years. unsubscribeme .I drive swedish. My wife bought one. Not really a bad car but still japanese. The VTEC engine really powers up the small 185 hp engine surprisingly. It is comfy and very quiet in the cabin too.
Nice video, a little quiet in the sense you're not offering any information or keeping the viewer interested/entertainied with useful info as you drive. When I'm on the road as a driver I MUST ADD I HATE OTHER DRIVERS WHO DON'T USE TURN SIGNALS... NOT ONCE TO TURN RIGHT OR MERGE ONTO THE HIGHWAY DID YOU USE YOUR TURN SIGNALS... You are the type of driver I hate.. Don't take it personal; I don't want to be mean, it's just terrible to drive that way, and many dislike it very much.
Yes Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and Forward Collision Warning (FCW) can be turned off the lane departure one has a button and the forward collision has to be turned off from settings and I know because I have a Honda Odyssey Touring but basically all the high models and cars of Honda's have the same SAFE TECHNICAL FEATURES LIKE FCW for example and so ive seen them before and btw one of my family members wants an accord really bad and we've test driven it before and it's so sporty and it's very peaceful and quiet on the road it's cuzz it's probably the camera that mad the noise and yes the V6 or sport V6 whether it's coupe of sedan they both good suspension and acceleration especially a good engine cuss like I said it's pretty sporty
First of all good review I like it a lot. Do you really recommend this Honda Accord V6? I'm on the market for a new car I really want the Accord V6. My only concern and reviews a read is that the Honda had many transmission V6 problems. My other options are the Toyota Camry and the 2013 Ford f150. Honestly what do you recommend. Thank and god bless. Looking for a car that is going to last me more than 10 years.
I finally traded in my vehicle for a 2014 EX-L V6 Accord Sedan. Has anyone noticed wind noise while driving on Highways around the pillars next to the drivers side? Overall, nice car and very refined.
He lowers the back left window at 1:55. I'm not sure why anyone would do that for a video like this. I too, would like to hear what the interior noise would be like, but having an open window just ruins it.
You really should learn to drive properly before you review cars and to drive with the window open whilst recording sound levels is plain stupid. One persons opinion!
