This really is a great review..idk if it was the guy or the car but I suddenly want a Civic

I have this exact car but in Silver. The CVT takes the fun out of it. I used to have the 2013 prior as a lease. The rims, while nice, make the car really loud on the highway. In addition, while it well planted when driving, it can't find the middle when you're driving it. You always have to correct it, even after an alignment. In addition, you feel EVERY bump with this model. It's gets annoying, considering it isn't a sports car. Now the good- it looks very sexy, the climate control is excellent, especially considering I live in the dirty south and its hot year 'round. I like LaneWatch a lot and it's very useful to me. The sound system is pretty good and the heated seats are nice when need. The power driver's side seat is very configurable. The sunroof is nice to have on breezy cool days! Also, one feature no one talks about is "Siri Eyes" feature this car has available. It's actually pretty useful, especially considering that it doesn't have Apple CarPlay on it. The voice commands that come with the actual car are worse than the 2013 LX model I had. You can say, "call mom" and it doesn't call mom. It calls someone else. Even if you program your voice tag with it. I like how you talked about the door lock features and also there are lots of features for the headlights as well.

I like the flow of your walk around. good detail. especially liked how you pointed out the backup camera immediately after showing the trunk. again, good flow

Great car to be own

despite the fact that civic is one of the most popular car (one of the bestsellers) and most loved cars on the planet, a lot of people still do not know how amazing and fantastic cars is it. especcialy the cng version. (but cng is more conveniet for other countries than u.s. because of the lack of cng stations ). honda made 2 huges mistakes. first: that got rid off the cng versions (they must keept them at least for Europe and some other countries) and the second: they got rid off the two-floor dash board. it was a signature of the civic. it's absolutely heart-breaking mistakes. (both of them) other than that any generation civic is a very best car ever in its class for all times!!.

Good review, although you had the engine running inside a closed space for far too long. Maybe it'd better to do the demo outside? Anyways - thanks :)

Is the voice command on 2012 as well?

I drove the 2014 EX-L sedan to compare to my 2013...I liked the ride , handle drive better, but I think Honda needs to add more ratio control for the CVT via something like paddle shifters. With my 2013 I often will use D3 or 2--and this cannot be done with the current format of the 2014 and its CVT.

Can someone explain to me why the windshield wipers on this car sort of "fold" inwards and don't swipe across the windshield like basically every other car?

They're putting CVTs on the new 2015 fits as well.

honda must listen to us (customers) universal (wagon, combi) version civic must be released for 10-th gen civic. and for Odyssey awd needed as well a panoramic roof. and honda has to get rid off the timing belt and switch to chain.

I have the standard edition of this same year but doesn't have that touch screen or sun roof :(

so glad they didnt add the auto on/off. That is so annoying and causes a delay, even slightly. Btw, on cars that DO have the auto on/off with CVT, is there an option to actually turn it off?

I have this car 2014 Honda Civic EX what gas does it take I can't the correct one in the owners Manuel someone help please It's 4doors Honda Civic sedan I guess ? 2014 I can't tell if it's the model with 1.8 L or the 2.4 L that needs premium gas..... I just got it on Saturday fun tank of gas and not sure which gas is right

What are the numbers for its engine horsepower and torque? The term "amazing trunk space," is it 15 cubic feet or larger (doubt it)? This particular trim does NOT come with Xenon headlights? No LED fog lights? No LED brake lights? How many speakers does this come with? Are they made by Alpine or Pioneer? No subwoofer? No navigation system? And you call this Civic as the most innovate small sedan?! Based on what?

Get rid of that OLD fashioned emergency pull hand brake for a electronic brake switch! Even VW NOW has the electronic switch!
