Thank you! I'm broke and my daughter's brakes sounded pretty bad. It took a lot of trial and error to replace just the drivers side brake pads and rotors but I did it...I got the torque specs from your channel. Thanks!!! Now on to the passenger side. It's literally easy once you get it!

Thnx Dan, you de man! Just took the money it would have cost to HAVE the front disks and rotors replaced, bought the tools (3ton jack lift, torque wrench, new set of impact drill sockets, pair of impact screw drivers, and the best item - a nifty magnetic parts bowl for the screws!! lol) and the required parts (gold level ceramic front disks, rust painted rotors, caliper slide pin set, grease, brake cleaner). And I have change left for 3 tanks of gas. With your moral support, it really is (kinda) as easy as you make it look ;)

I never put those screws back on. But if you do it's good to have one of those manual impact screwdrivers to get them off. The kind you hit with a hammer.

I'm curious why you replaced the rotors. They appeared to be serviceable.

You don't need to drive the retaining screws that go into the rotor in so hard. They're there just to hold the rotor in place while you're installing the caliper and pad assembly.

and here www.hamanual.com/removal-1085.html Looks like the max listed here for the caliper assembly to knuckle is 72.3ft lbs. I usually go by feel, but I have been trying to include the specs if I can find them online. Thanks again for watching!
