Don't forget the Es model they age pretty well also I have a 05 Es330 people that don't know about cars they say if its a 2010 or something it clean and I also got black Rims and tinted
@@luisrubiolr57 please hold onto this, these may shoot up in value and there may be a higher demand on the market for this, this being one of the best V-8's to come out of Lexus
Ha, I too have a 2014 with 90K miles I enjoy very much, love it. My Local Lexus Dealers always trying to buy it from me. I always tell them NOOO!!! Enjoy that car!
I am 26 and upgraded from a 2012 ford fiesta to a 2015 ES 300h with like 35K miles on and it has been such an amazing experience so far. It is like you said, geared towards an older driver but it does more than enough for me and the level of comfort and reliability is second to almost none. I have friends my age with Mercedeses and have said they would deff switch if could. I am far from bored with the car and would recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful car for years to come
That's awesome Daniel congrats. Yes it's the ride quality that truly doesn't compromise. Not sporty, not bumpy but just plush enough for a good driving experience all around!
Just got a 2014 LS 460 with 85 k miles on it. Love it. I had a 2002 LS 430 for 9 years, before that I had a 1991 LS 400 for 9 years. Love the Lexus LS. great video by the way.
Wow, sounds like me! 12 years with 91 LS400, 5 years 2002 LS430, now 6 years plus into my 2007 LS460. Now I’m looking at the 13-17 LS460 Fsport awd as an upgrade.
Congrats! It’s okay to have a car addiction, it’s one of the safer ones. 😉 The 3000 is always a fan fav, I’d be surprised if most didn’t know what it was on sight.
Surely is! Car people would know, I typically just get asked if it’s the turbo version but to the average Joe they just say it’s a nice car. They throw some weird guesses too like Camaro, Ferrari, ECLIPSE 😂 etc
I have a 2017 LS460 I bought new for $80,000 and I just picked up a 2007 LS460L for $8,000, one owner, California car, all services at the Lexus dealer, needing a little bit of work, 122,000 miles. In my opinion, the LS460 today is one heck a bargain, they are truly a underrated and under appreciated car!
I have a friend who is a senior mechanic for Lexus and he says the LS460 has the least amount of problems of all Lexus cars he has worked on. It’s rock solid vehicle. Enjoy!
@Jom James Early 460s? Melting dashes. Valve springs. Brake actuators. Whole front suspensions. Wind noise. They ironed the kinks out but an LS430 this is not.
His remarks have flaws in it. The LS sells less. Less owners. It is expensive, therefore, people tend to drive less. Thats why your tech friend have lower chance of fixing the LS. Just saying.
I had a 1995 Lexus SC 400 and I know that Lexus is top dog when it comes to luxury, suspension, handling, durability. The Lexus will give 400k miles plus and still drive like new. Your LS is very nice. I'm thinking about getting a preowned one with no accident and save $30k to $40k
Recently got a space grey 2014 IS250 with 64k miles one owner. One of the greatest things about Lexus beyond their established reliability is how much their dealerships honor their customer base. You walk in with a used model you didn’t buy at the dealer and no matter how old they will do good honest work for a extremely fair price. No strings attached just great customer service and prices to guarantee you always come back.
Unbeatable for the money. And that sound is just wonderful when it starts up. 98k miles on that engine is new. My wife drives an '09 GX470 with 220k miles. Doesn't burn any oil and practically idles up the side of the mountain here in Colorado. Everything works as it should, and the GX's are increasing in value. Can't beat that on a car!
@@luisrubiolr57 We got ours two years ago when everyone was still looking for 4Runner's here. Back then the GX's were going for a couple thousand less that the 4Runner's. Knowing that the GX was just a loaded V8 4Runner I looked for them and came across the right one. Now, at least here in Colorado, people have figured this out and the price of the GX's have shot up. Oh and as far as LS's go, my mom has an '01 LS430 with the ultra luxury package on it. She's old and hardly ever drives it so it only has 107k miles on it. It drives like new. The LS's are incredibly well built cars.
@@maximaniac7231 Oh nice! Yeah my coworker has that same year and model too. Funny thing we just spoke about it today and how he had a check engine light and could not figure out what it was. He told himself he would just drive it until it came off. Needless to say it came off and car is flawless lol
I drive a 2014 GS350 tinted out like that, and I've driven my friend's JDM right hand drive GTO, one of the only AWD naturally aspirated (3000 GT) in America. Also my dad's friend has a Dodge Stealth which is pretty much the same car.
I have a 2012 460L that I absolutely love. I really wanted the 2013 body style but at the time it was a little over my price range. Now after 3 yrs I'm thinking about getting the refresh. It's something about those newer headlights with the daytime light and the fresher infotainment screen. Beautiful car btw
@kaineshorts1783 The application is Drone Mobile. I think the car is definitely worth it, one of the best cars I've owned and working at a dealership I've had a lot of cars. Good luck.
@@luisrubiolr57 i was thinking about grabbing an Ls460 has 67k on it 2014 you think it’s worth it ? & also has air bag suspension but i hear them type of suspension have problems?
@@luisrubiolr57 Absolutely! Great driving car. I found my LS in 2019 w/ only 62k miles...all service done by this one Lexus dealership in FL and 1 owner. Such a gem. I would 1001% love to have a LS460 to add to the fleet.
This used to be the dope boy car when I was growing up in NYC back in the 90s. Along with timberlands, baggy jeans and camouflage jackets. That was the uniform. They used to run from the city to Virginia and sometimes further down south to ATL and Miami.
Just bought a clean 1 owner 07 Rear Drive 81k miles ...garaged...no snow...serviced at dealer....love the car...This car has more updated tech but i paid 13k for the 07 and its great car...
Yes it’s the Martinique yellow. As far as I know it’s one of two yellow 1994 3000gt VR-4s with beige interior registered in CA. Last one sold almost 2 years ago for 19k!
Beautiful car, man. In a few years I might be able to make this a reality as a daily driver. Carvana hardly has any 2014s or newer for less than $30k, I'd jump at one like yours for the price you got it!
3000GT VR-4. Competitor to my favorite car the Supra Twin Turbo in the early to mid 90's. Sounds like you have the exhaust on your 460 modded. Nice clean ride sir but I got to have that 460L with Executive package... massage seats in back with ottoman aircraft recliner seat In rear. Like your rims dude but if you upped the size to at least 22's it would REALLY set your car off!!! Nice peice you have though. Very elegant and CLEAN dude!!! I'll get there finally this year!!!
Do it bro. For a commuter and mostly highway miles go for the ls460, is350 for lots of city driving. If you need space you'll regret the is because back space is small. I love my VR4, only car I can't get rid of!
I'm on my second ls430, both models not the UL with air ride. I couldn't imagine how much more comfortable the ride would be with it, but then to upgrade even further with a 13+ model would be insane. I want to stay away from car payments, but damn do I want a 460
Thank you. My previous LS460 was the AWD and it did great in the rain, very comfortable and the water sensing windshield Wipers were nice. I'm not sure about the snow unfortunately but I know there was a snow mode as a drive option.
just bought one today actually, already fell in love. rip made the comment before you said 30 or 40 years old. im only 24 but being in the car repair business since i was 13 i have always been die hard lexus. also its my dads dream car and cant wait for him to see it and most likely attack me
I leased 2017 and miss it every day. I currenlty drive a Lincoln Contenental and you notice pulling into a valet how much better then flex of the Lexus was.
Could you try to pedal brake while you shifting up and down to see needle of RPM meter moving up down, I don't know why today I tested drive to see it asked dealer he wanted to sell it said there is not a problem 🤔🤔🤔?? Could you help me this on your.
Congratulations on your LS 460 I had the 2008 but I definitely want the 2013 to 17 model enjoy me personally I think the 2013 to 17 models just ride better
Oh I definitely would! If I can change anything on mine is I wish mine had the Mark Levinson premium sound and the upgraded suspension but either way you'd be super happy with a LS. I sold this Lexus about a year after I made the video sorry!
That car is amazing! I didn't know the LS was redesigned with the GS in 2013. I thought it still had the old styling but those tail lights, executive-looking front end, and beautiful interior wood trim proved me wrong! I recently purchased a 2014 GS350 in December, it's a very nice car but maybe I should've at least put the 2013-14 LS460 on my list to look at before purchasing a GS. Either way, it's been great to me so far and I definitely plan on keeping it for quite a while, good luck with the LS460 man!
Actually yes, the older model felt more luxurious rather than this one feeling refined in regards to tech and overall newer car feel. For long drives I would definitely take the older model but this newer one is better for looks, technology and overall ambiance.
Luv it!!! Just grabbed last week 1 of 750 ever produced LS 460 F SPORT Crafted Line. Coming from always owning S550's, this is my fav... what did you do to get your exhaust sounding soooooo good?
I know a 3000gt rear end when i see one! Honestly tho, surprised that they are not very sout after considering how cool looking they are, wish that they offered the SE in rwd tho
I agree. They VR-4 is finally up there in price. But how difficult they are to work on, scarcity in parts and how much they weigh make it unworthy to some compared to other similar cars in the 90s.
Great video! What exhaust setup do you have on it? Straight pipe? Also at around 6:05 your location is visible might want to blur that out in YT studio
Man, this car makes me want to sell my 2011 GS. Honestly if I found one for the right price I'd go for it. If not, then I'm still winning with what I have. Beautiful car bro
Mr. Beezy...I was the Proud Owner of a 2011 Lexus GS for 3 Years and Love the Speed and Sound System!!!! HOWEVER, I Did EXACTLY as You said...I Traded it in for a Newer LS and WHAT A WORLD of DIFFERENCE!! I Miss My GS( Phenomenal CAR) BUT If I CAN Help it, I am NOT going Back.
