2014 Nissan Note Medalist Brake Emergency Package Review 

Honest Review: I have a Nissan note DIG-S 2013 lower tream (Not medallist) Got it at 76,000km and now am clocking 102,000km. This car is just a beast on the road. 1. The car is very very stable even at higher speeds and handles way better than the vitz - most Toyotas (small cars) are very unstable - I did 180km/hr from Machakos junction dual carriage coming to Athi River and it felt very stable. That was just testing I never overspeed! 2. Very spacious. It beats the vits, demio and even the honda fit , driver and passenger legroom, boot space and comes with a spare tyre. 3. Eco mode, non eco mode and sport mode. To save fuel, eco mode is activated by pressing a button and the supercharger will not engage but power will be limited. Driving in the city on this mode activated is okay but cruising on the highway deactivate it. Fuel economy on the highway also is good. Sport mode will use a lot of fuel is only good to engage when overtaking. - The medalist note comes packed with safety features 4. You don’t need to buy a stereo system. Nissan stereos are always super with good bass and sound options- Equalizer. 5. CVT transmission. Many have said the transmission will develop problems along the way due to overheating and extreme driving mechanics. Many have gone to install after market cvt coolers which improve cooling of the transmission off the radiator. Proper maintenance and service intervals is very important- applies to any car even the vits has a cvt transmission plus many other Toyotas like the new models of axio, fielder hybrid, harrier etc so don’t be told otherwise. Change the battery as soon as you buy your note, tyres. Don’t rush to change transmission fluid if the transmission drives fine. If you’re keen on ground clearance the original springs won’t work if you carry loads on boot or passengers full capacity. Change to heavy duty springs (never use spacers!!!) I recommend AutoXpress when servicing this car. OVERALL: Don’t fear to own Nissan note, treat her well, always go smooth on the accelerator pedal and your engine and transmission will serve you for long This car can go anywhere!

I wish you had shown the rpm when the speedometer was over 120. It could have shown if the car was struggling or not

I drive bear feet in this car. Rearly do I take it out of eco mode. When the narrator say it will keep up with other car he is not giving a 6 for a 9. I would advice that asap replace that plastic connection from the Super Charger with a good hose. The air flow from SC will burst the plastic connection unexpextedly when it is not in eco mode and speeding. By the way I drive bear feet so I can feel what is happening as the Nissan Note 2014 has a tendency to pick up speed very quickly.
