I live in the UK and have had a 2014 Nissan Note DIG-S with a manual transmission from new. The economy setting in always set, it is not that fast but it is very economical especially when using cruise control. The car produces so little CO2 that I do not pay any road tax, the additional cost of getting the Note with the supercharger has probably paid for itself by not paying this tax. There are fuel saving as well. I really like the car and it is very practical with a huge amount of space. The rear seat can slide backwards and forwards, when forward the boot is huge. The boot can accommodate a spare wheel that would be really useful if you have a puncture. I recommend this car.

Is the used car market in Kenya heating up like in the US? Huku hivi, you can now sell a used car that you bought upto 2-3 years ago for the SAME price you got it for, or for a small profit, depending on condition and milage of course. New cars on the other hand are being marked up by as much as 75% as of Jan!!!! Ni kubaya huku even for well to do folks.

Bwana the DIG-S is only a 3-cylinder 1.2L but outperforms any naturally aspirated 1.5L 4 cylinder vehicles like kina Axio, Vitz etc. Bwana wachana na sisi bwana tusumbue watu wa Wish, Fielder na Premio kwa milima.
Already comes with one. What you just need is to have the transmission serviced by someone who knows what they are doing. All CVTs come with a paper filter on the inside apart from the metallic strainer. If this paper filter is clogged, you can install as many aftermarket coolers as you wish, still your problems will persist.

Dear sir, many thanks for an a very good review. I recently purchased an E-12 , 2014 automatic DIGI-S import into UK and the car is running excellent. Very little technical info about the vehicle. Recently, I found Rt side Reverse Light gon off. Replased Bulb, NO help. Whatever info available: they state that by the end of Dash, at left inside the door is a small location with fuses. In my car it has AIRBAG in it. I will very much appreciate if you can tell me the FUSE Number and Location to check if you know. Any help from readers will also be appreciated. regards, aftab ahmed. hi, would this be a good car for doing once in say, 3 months journeys between Mombasa and Nairobi? then I also heard that the annual comprehensive insurance of this car is about thrice as much as that of other cars in its category, is that true?
Hi Erick I have a dig-s rider, there times when I put it into drive the display panel shows 1M instead of D, then if you shift it to neutral then back to D it shows 2M , hizo ni nini? Kindly help. Cheers
Happens to me once in a while, The gearbox seems to have an error which puts it into a manual mode since it thinks the car has some tiptronic controls(which it doesnt) ,If it happens just pull over, switch it off the car, then back on.
It has happened to me a couple of times, I noticed the issue was the battery, when not well connected or faulty battery. All operation of this car heavily depends on the battery.
wueeh .......very few car reviews has so many conditions.I have to ask is it really worth it ? i would argue better a probox that run come rain or sun.
