Actually, it wasn't sold for $5M. If you read that article, or watch the video, there was a LaF owner here in SoFl that decided to slap a $5M pricetag on his car, and Alejandro (along with many others, myself included) thought the guy was nuts. So he decided to store it at McL BH and also put a ridiculous price on it as the saying is 'everything has a price'. As we know, the car didn't sell (the LaF did though surprisingly) and he kept it a while longer before selling/trading it off to get the 918 (I think that's what he got rid of it for) and thus the never-ending nut riding from his subscribers began.

You had Horacio Pagani in your presence. Holy crap. This is the coolest hypercar that I have ever seen. The moving parts on the car itself and the design, and THE SOUND. That is the most beautiful/brutal together, V-12 I have ever heard in my life. AMG division did a great job with the engineering. Definitely a cool video.

yup, and unlike other supercars, the insterior design is so much better. No LED screens and computers. I hate those screens, computers and mostly when the car talks to you. Pagani understands what real drivers want. Also unlike lamborgini, there seems to be better visibility. Those cars are pioneers and often some of the design trickle down to regular car. Jay leno is pretty good too because he makes us discover all kind of very interesting cars with their histories, quirks and so on. As a comedian not so much but as a car guy, he is great. Leather and carbon fiber are so much better than plastic and the worst is plastic chrome. Contructors should spend more money on the interior and less in gadgets that we don't need, often can't use and most of time breaks.

Everyone knows who spec'd the car! He also sold the car! Everyone acts like no one was ever supposed to buy it or show it again! I think there is a lot to learn from David Lee. Really humble person and admirable how he shares and wants everybody to enjoy his cars. That's really cool. I personally would have a hard time doing that if I had the money and all those cars. It is definitely my dream. Everyone is different. I respect that from him.

John of course I would defend a fellow car enthusiast. People on this video's comment section are bashing David for changing up a car that has his name on the car title. You guys defend the Pagani as if it still belongs to mr. cupbanger. If this is the case, next time you guys buy a second hand car, don't change a thing, not even a wheel nut. All the dramatics other commenters are talking about aside, I have to say that it just doesn’t get any better than this in my eyes. I would plead with Mr. Pagani for a manual gearbox, but that’s just me. I would also need to have the “guy” service mine on a monthly rotation, due to the mileage it would accumulate!! No, I’m not 16, and I have owned a few very modest in comparison, but nice cars. I just enjoy using them. I will purchase one as soon as I get an 1100% raise. I have been in love with Pagani ever since getting to sit in a Zonda. It is the only car that left me speechless. And I didn’t even get to drive it!!!

I am more into classic cars than super cars, but these are some of the most beautiful automobile's ever made. And all the details are insane. Doug also did a review on one of these, it may have been the same exact car, but you get to see what every little knob does and it just blows you away that someone could build something this gorgeous.

I have to give it to David, he kept it professional, mentioned the previous owner as a friend. I am a huge fan of the "friend" RU-vid channel and I hope he adresse all of the hate on David In the end David allows us to still see the car and enjoy it. Yeah it renamed the car but if you spent all the money on the car you might want to make it your own

Agree Pierre, David now OWNS the car he can do what he wants with it. Seems some fans of the "friend" can't get past that. I'll admit I used to be a fan of the "friend" myself and sub to his channel, until he sold all his cars and now lease them, his channel pretty much turn a 180 degree, and not really about cars anymore.

I never was into blue cars, but this is one of those colors that changes a persons opinion. This is such a beautiful car form every angle, and you could hear it in Jays voice when he is inspecting under the front hood, it almost leaves him speechless.

Possibly the most beautiful modern car made. Somehow the engine sound isn't what I would have imagine a car like this to sound like, but the looks and design more than remedy that little quibble. Beautiful car today, and will still be a beautiful car design in 100 years!

Because they've all already commented those compliment on his videos with his car at the time. This car isn't new to them, this car isn't new to me. I saw a relationship develop between driver and car on Alejandro's channel. It was a romantic relationship between man and machine. It was truly beautiful, when Alejandro owned it. He'd do the best videos with it. He'd have the best prosperity with this car, in fact he had a series that rivaled Top Gear, old Top Gear! And the part of all, he'd do his best to get this car involved with as many races as possible in those vids. Hyper 5 was my favorite series because it involved my favourite car: the Pagani Huayra

Can't understand why people are jealous. I've always loved the channel because it gives me a closer look at cars I could never hope to afford. At least Jay and friends try to share as best they can and openly show there cars to us. Also I've never once seen someone brag on the channel, they have always looked at cars as the technical marvels they are. Most people on here say they are lucky and privileged to own such vehicles. Would you rather this channel didn't exist and you never get the chance to look at them? Jay covers these cars brilliantly. Rant over, and cheers to any that read it.

David is awesome. He took his life and made it very prosperous and he enjoys his cars...which he is entitled to with his financial well being. In person he is friendly and he uses his cars. He lets everyone enjoy them with him. Hes just an all around decent guy. Love his collection (super jealous of a few of his cars.)

He speced the car but it is far from an original spec. So I wouldn't call it Salomondrin's spec as it wasn't original to him but a copy of another limited edition Pagani

Art Vandelay don't know the guy, so I shouldn't be judging him, but I have to agree with you :p. Whether it's with Shmee150, Jay Leno etc, he always wants to show that HE owns those cars. Not in a humble way imo. Also don't like the way he talks about the 730S and his 'competition' Lusso. Awesome collection though..

I've always been a fan of Pagani's retro-futuristic interior aesthetic. It's like he's taken his design queues from the 1950s--lots of shiny aluminum/chrome with plenty of bubbly curves, yet it's also high tech. But then he flips the scrip and has the belt buckles on the glove box and rear hood release. The juxtaposition of modern and classic design just works.

If you say ill of a Honda you haven't a clue what Honda's are about. Some of the best cars in the world regardless of price point. They can make a 200hp 2.0 engine rev to 8k and last 300k kms in a mountain region where this Pagani can't even clear the nomal driveway... Better is relative. Anywhere not Nardo this sort of car featured is almost useless.
