"...saving the planet..." Is this what even Jay Leno believes???? You mean brine pooling, strip mining, recharging by burning MORE fossil fuels as opposed to a gas car, and taking 4.5 times the energy to build one, and no way (yet) to recycle all those horrific batteries - IS GREEN?????? C'mon Jay!!!!!!!
I'm glad for you Jay! You can't take it with you, so you may as well enjoy the fruits of your labor while you still can. I can't believe I watched this entire video.... it was great! I loved the story of the paper bag filled with cash, that you left on stage....lol. What a life you have lived Jay.... ha ha. God bless you!!!
Toyota invites all the Lexus engineers and designers to an exclusive Christmas party. Everyone is expecting money. Toyota Execs stand up in front of the room and head for the microphone. "People, today we are giving you a special Christmas present. Instead of money, which everyone is expecting, we're giving you a bigger present. You have a clean sheet of paper to design, create and assemble a car of your own choosing. Hand built if you like. Because it will have the Lexus name on it, it has to be the best. It would not be wise to disappoint us. Merry Christmas." The result? This is what freedom can look like when let loose. A Rolls has luxury and precision. An LFA has precision and performance. A smart rich person will have THESE in his secret garage. Jay is driving into the hills and getting away from traffic and decides to open it up a bit. Along the way, he passes a hidden State trooper vehicle with 2 cops inside. The passenger is a new out of state rookie with 3 weeks on the road. Jay zooms by. The rookie gets excited and says to give chase to that car! The driver continues to do nothing. The rookie has a questioning look and asks again. Still, the driver sits and does nothing. "What are you doing? Let's catch that car!" "No need. That's Jay". "Jay who?" "Boy, you ARE new here, aren't you. Nice car though. It would be nice to see THAT one he's driving, but I don't want to be a pest. Maybe, just maybe(!), if he comes back this way, we'll take a chance." Rookie still clueless.
Awesome numbers all things considered! That's s Disappointing about the fuel pumps. Did Pete say that you'll have to retune it after you I stall the FGT pumps?
Jay bud this is the only way some of us will ever see a RR So thank you, so many people will appreciate that you bought this car, and its really a piece of art, its a Rolex Baby 🤠💪
What I love about Jay is he is so humble, the man is loaded but loves wearing jeans and a shirt and you can tell he buys cars just because he genuinely loves them and wants to share them with us. This man doesn't need to do youtube, he doesn't need the money, but he gives us a detailed account and lets us see the car. So much respect. I work from home three days a week and Jay is always up on another monitor while I program. Thanks Jay. The other one of my favorites is the Owen Magnetic.
13:33 a tragic moment capture in video 😢 Jay scratch his car in the unloading 😢 14:29 the first time I see Jay mad especially in 14:31 his facial expression says everything
Edsel Ford died of undulant fever, apparently brought on by drinking unpasteurized milk from the Ford dairy herd, at the insitence of his father, who had the mistaken belief that all things natural must be good.
Does the car have a backseat, trunk and something under the hood to look at? Or is it just a waste of time to show this in a one hour clip? Boring to say the least...
Jay is clearly annoyed by the seatbelt being tangled. I can fully understand that. ”When you are at the bottom of the hill you have put 5miles into it” Jay is clearly enjoying the first symptoms of range anxiety. Having to know at all times how much he is using power and how much is left.
Consider this somewhat specific scenario: If you are baby kangaroo, but your mother suddenly dies and you need to find new home, then the leather pouch on these doors is the most cocooning substitute for mother’s love. Or, like Rolls Royce would put it, it is adequate.
