So sad just watched his last performance at the Miramar airshow this weekend. Nothing is as cool as Seans tuckers performance...... Jets are loud and super super awsome but nothing comes close to Seans skill and performance as well the challengers capabilities in my opinion. Watching an extra do aerobatics just isn't as cool.
Saw this guy yesterday (10-22-2016) at the Wings Over Houston airshow. He took the plane straight up to 2000ft, stopped, and just hovered vertically for about 10 seconds. Crazy stuff. He built this thing to replicate stunts previously possible only with R/C planes, lol.
What is the name of the song that always plays at his shows? Since first watching him in the late 80s I could not figure out what the name was of that little jingle.
I have the oppurtunity to see the Oracle Challenger one more time at the Bethpage Airshow. It'll then go to it's rightful place in the Air and Space Museum.
I agree with you but I don't feel the need to give you a so-called 'like' just to reinforce your own narcissistically perceived notion of self-worth. Feed the homeless or save the rain forests, maybe end a war or two, then maybe I'll drop off some love, but until then, you're just another needy millennial seeking hollow and meaningless approval in an internet comments section while adding nothing of actual value to the conversation. Consider this comment tough love.
I felt like it was zoomed in too far. With him rollin and flipping so much it was hard to tell how he was covering the sky. And the smoke trail is a big part of the effect. Great video though. Amazing lens lol.
Perhaps the most complex trick any aviator can attempt is one I have yet to see Sean even attempt let alone master, It's call the single "humility" outward projection thrust. Mastered by many other aviators I would much prefer to watch over Sean Tucker. Why does ORACLE fund such a man?
I barely heard the announcer, but I think he said that Mr. Tucker was feeling like he weighed about a ton? I guess that would be true if he's about 200 pounds and pulling 10 g's, no? 200 x 10= 2000 lbs. I can't even imagine that. My aviation professor said he thinks this plane is built to withstand 14 g's, although it never gets there. That would be about two and a half the normal weight load of an aerobatic plane, I think.
