I bought one of these a few days ago, it's blown me away. Never thought I'd ever buy anything other than Specialized but I'm converted to trek now. Beautiful ride. Good choice my friend
I have 2014 DS8.4 , when I bought mine,this vid was the only vid of same bike different color schemes, I loved it since day one and have no complaints, how bout you ?
I also have this bike, same color and all :) ABSOLUTELY love it. Great being able to lock the strut while pumping up hills and release it while going over bumps. Mine is only a 15.5 though :P
love my 2014 8.4ds only the seat i didnt like but otherwise cant fault it mine also has the shimano hydros which are very good better gear spec than the newer 8.4 models and at 40 mph never felt unsafe
how does it fair on a wet terrain with mud and leaves. do you think the thicker tires are a must, i would like to know b/c i have rain a lot and the trails can get muddy and i fear this would just sink into the mud being so narrow.
