Purchased all of these for solid prices before right before the market went crazy some b/c of availability (I Guess) and the other b/c of COVID19 delivery issues. Own every vinyl remaster from KISS - Monster and got lucky enough to get a copy of Kiss Symphony as well. Sadly so many of of the remasters of 2014 have gone gone on backorder and the prices have gotten crazy expensive. which is a shame however I must say I am only lacking KISS Killers (which on ebay a copy solid for $1000 the 2014 remasters extremely rare to see one available for sell), You Wanted the Best you Got the Best and I recently picked up KISS Unplugged as well the 2014 remaster. Rock on KISS love the 2014 remasters and these vids are great nice to see someone taking the time to honestly show all the vinyl that is knowledgeable about KISS as well.
The sound on these things are FAR better than the 1997 CD reissues! Those reissues aren't going anywhere, as long as "Gene" and "Paul" can make money on them! You have to remember, the "motley crue" reissues are still in print, and they were released in 2008!

I would like to make a comment regarding the alive millennium record the packaging for that release was done when the box set was under the def-jam label, this recording was going to be the original alive 4 and even went so far as to print ads in magazines back in 1999 but due to contract negotiations the album was put on hold and instead they issued the symphony recording instead but when the ALIVE box set was done it finally released it as the millennium concert with the other live albums and the packaging was pretty much just thrown together rather quickly in order to get it out by the release date.
Hey Brian, Loved the part two of the Kiss Vinyl Reissues video , very informative and not boring at all . Always cool to see the albums in it's entierty cover to cover and inside and out. I still have not opened my Alive IV Symphony triple album yet but if or when I do it will be on RU-vid ! Greatest Kiss is the only one I need but for $500.00 dollars on Ebay when I was looking at the time it would of put me around the price of the official Roadcase Boxset ( I don't think so )!!!! +Jeffery Rusnock Thanks, Jeff! I would LOVE to see what's inside of Symphony if you do ever open it. Yeah, you are right. As soon as you spend $500 for one album out of the box set, it would make sense to just get the whole thing. However, that's just not in the cards for me. Ha, ha.
Nice job......i totally agree about the millenium album......i live in Vancouver and went to the concert on New Years Eve, it was amazing, but why make the album so boring??? EVERY alive album has a gatefold or goodies with it, oh well......CHEERS!!!!
Hey man, I have a doubt, about the 2014 reissues, only these version they have the inserts?, because there is another versions, that have a sticker that says " with a mp3 voucher" these version does includes the inserts too???

Actually Bruce Kulick played on about the half of the animalize album, so animalize was his first album with kiss but he dint was on the cover! The same thing with vinnie Vincent on the creatures of the nights album. But he appeared on the cover in Brazil but not in the rest of the world!
To my knowledge, Bruce plays on two songs. He plays lead on the last song on side 1, Lonely is the Hunter, and he plays the closing riffs on the last song of side 2, Murder in High Heels. The rest is Mark.
Alive or Alive 4 the millennium concert was not recorded on the farewell tour but on Psycho Circus Tour on new years eve at BC coliseum 1999-2000 it was supposed to be the original alive 4 but the band was having problems with their contracts and record companies at the time but on the verge of it being released (they even ran ads in magazines on it) it was put off till a deal could be reached, instead they did the alive 4 symphony (in my opinion....sucks)
Awesome videos! My ears however do enjoy the vinyl for Monster. It gets great volume and guitar sound from my turntable. Separation is good too, like the Gene bass lines on this and the previous Sonic Boom!!.....two more quick things I'd love a reply on....one, have u got a chance to behold the AMAZING packaging and sound of the new Kiss vinyl Kiss Rocks Vegas??...omg it's brilliant! Trifold with bonus DVD, photos laced on both sleeves, custom labels featuring a different member on each side!.....secondly, have u heard anything about a vinyl pressing for Sonic Boom?...must have to complete Kiss records. I have heard possibly of Kiss perhaps doing another studio album too. Anyway, great job!
Thanks! Glad you enjoy the vinyl version of Monster. I might have to give it a re-listen. Yes, I do have the Kiss Rocks Vegas vinyl set. I agree, it's amazing!!! Best Kiss album packaging since Alive II, in my opinion. If only they had included a poster. My head might have exploded, though. Ha, ha. There was a vinyl release of Sonic Boom (that I, sadly, do not have) through Kiss online. They produced 5000 albums (1000 each in different colors) in a very limited run several years before the entire Kiss catalog got reissues on vinyl. Now, with so many collectors having the reissues and missing that one album in the collection, the price on vinyl SB has skyrocketed. I haven't heard anything regarding a reissue, unfortunately, but I'd love to see it happen.
You are gonna love this....when getting a vinyl copy at my local amazing record store of Kiss Rocks Vegas, Kiss and Universal did have record store only limited retailer incentive add ons if purchased at a record store. When buying the album you got an 11 by 17 Kiss Rocks Vegas poster AND an amazing Kiss Rocks Vegas drink Koozie!!! That complete with the already amazing packaging makes this and I agree Kiss Alive 2 the most special packaging ever! Glad to have my poster and Koozie, sure to complete my album. i enjoyed Elder and Creatures was a good album as well, but i'm mot thrilled with Asylum or Animalize. Crazy Nights and Hot in the Shade were decent enough. It was good that after Unmasked they weren't marketed for children and parents anymore, but they did try a bit too hard for "street cred". By the mid to late 80s they were to old to try to be hip.
It's TOO bad or who knows maybe it was a good thing they didn't do Killers. But I have the German Lp pressing and the South American pressing (Colombia) of Killers and while they vary in terms of the art work, the sound, specially of the South American pressing beats the crap out of the German. I love Asylum. its got a great vibe and my analog copy sounds incredible. Sadly Hot in The Shade is the total opposite, while analog its such a badly produced record. Sound wise. Awesome reviews of these re-issues
