Great Video! I am getting this model tomorrow. It is used but in the same condition as the one you showed. Thanks for taking the time to make this content.
Thanks so much for this video because I didn’t know how to turn on my fog light lol I didn’t know it unlocked like that or had that touch pouch option... you should do this for a living!! Very professional, well spoken and amazing camera handling lol
I bought one of these for $10k with 82,000 miles about 16 months ago. It has left me stranded three times with bad alternators, but I found out it was because of crappy aftermarket alternators, so I forked over the money for a genuine part. Other than that, it’s been pretty good. I have 91k on it now. Pretty soon I’ll be fixing a fuel system leak and getting a timing belt job done.
Just bought my first real car! at least one from a real certified dealership. I've bought a few that have broken down on my within a year but i got a VW Passat Wolfsburg Edition. I'm starting to like it more and more every day!!! kinda wish I had the back up camera, but that's alright I consider myself an expert parker, at least I used to be a valet haha
I wish the tdi was still offered in America. My dad bought a 15 Passat tdi 6m back in September 19 and then like 6 months later we got a 15 a3 tdi and all I can say is they’re awesome daily’s.
@@thatcarguy005 yessir. My dad was coming from an 09 Corolla s with a 5 speed that got totaled. He was pretty dead set on getting another manual. He was lucky to find one not too far from us. Picked it up back in September ‘19 with 49k miles for 14,999. I think it’s safe to say he’s enjoying 50+ mpg on the highway.
@@thatcarguy005 he doesn’t have Facebook it I’m in it. I’ve posted some pics in there just search for my name you should see a white a3 and a gold passat.
@@thatcarguy005 maintenance is mainly in engine. I here they take alot of money to up keep. Im looking at 2014 passat 1.8 turbo with 70k no major accidents. Good buy?
NO HEAT - for those with 2014 passat TDI volkswagen extended the warranty on the heater core to 10yr 120k miles, fully transferrable - these are notorious for getting plugged up and no heat in the winter
How do you like it so far? Thinking about getting one. What was the best mpg ? How many miles can you drive on full tank? Anything you would change on this car ? Thanks very nice video keep up the great work !
@@thegeneral1955 I actually have the exact same car the engines r usually a oil burner at 60,000 . Parts are not easy to find in N.Y.C parts can take 2 to 3 days to get here . Now I'm using a Ford parts a few hours or they have it in stock.
