Yeah, it was a little hard one handed. The plastics was just from a cheap plastic cup that was in the recycling, but any plastic will work. When you wrap it around something round and rigid, you just push it all in, and pull you tool out. The tool is only to keep the plastic from collapsing as you push in. Definitely make sure you don’t let anything come off and slide into the tank, like if you used a socket on an extension.
