I hope Yamaha Canada is listening.... I think the Phazer is a GREAT snowmobile BUT! I think Yamaha needs to change the looks of this sled. This style of Phazer has been out for awhile now (since 2007) and a fresh new look could not hurt. Also... I feel like the Phazer needs a little bit more horsepower, it is a 80 hp sled which is AMAZING considering its a 500cc 4 stroke twin but with 10 more horse I think it would make others more interested in this sled AND it would be competition for the Ski Doo 900 ACE. I also hear that its a tipsy sled which I could see Yamaha fixing this very easy. If the Phazer was a 90 hp sled with a new design with more wind protection, less tipsy, and a 15" wide track. I think you would see more people interested in this sled and would have a winner for a entry level trail sled.
yeah i know they could add it as a option instead of two different models cause they are the same thing the only thing differnet is the track i mean come on they didnt have to rename it cause the track is a half inch bigger
More wet weight than a 900 ace. less reliable engine, shorter range, worse fuel economy, worse cooling. very bad wind protection and the chassis isn't made for pulling cargo sleds. it also has a lot of noise compared with 900 ace. why would you want to buy the phazer?
Is this all you do, hate on every video with a phazer in it. Go buy yourself a 900 ace and have fun with it. You'll be paying a lot more for an ace but by all means follow your dreams.
@@HackerHelper796 the phazer is probably more reliable,. Because it is a smaller engine, fuel economy is very good on them, never heard a single problem about cooling on them. Plus why would you buy the skidoo, it is 900cc (almost double the phazer) and only makes 10hp more than the phazer
Lmfao off the line a phazer will beat a 900 ace. From experience no doubt the phazer runs out on the top end. Also, your completely wrong about less reliable, Yamaha has always been the king of reliability in there 4 stroke engines.
@@OscarThompson-zq5bv phazer has no chance. You don't know what you're talking about. 900ace beat 110-120hp 600 e-tec up to 80km/h. Stock phazer can barely keep a 60hp fan cooled behind. Dirt bike based engines are crap. Disposable quality. Not you're average Yamaha engine.
i know if think about it its crazy stupid im not sure why they wasted the money on this it makes me want to just say good bye to yamaha 2014 has been full of stupid ideas
