2015/2016 Ford Fusion Owner Review - One Year later - Is it Worth Keeping? 

My 2015 SE is REALLY some of the best money I've spent!!! (Seriously) ... I stand at 6 foot 4 inches and weigh in at around 300lbs (a pretty big guy) and i have to say that I am rather comfortable IN THE BACKSEAT of my own car (all jokes aside). I live in Maryland .. bought the car in Charlotte North Carolina .. made the trek home in the 6-8 hours (can't remember exactly) pushing 80-90 mph ... smooth as glass ... comfortable ... ON ONE TANK OF GAS!!! THE ONLY REASON I gassed it up again was because I stopped at Potomac Mills and figured why run it on vapors. Not going to bored you guys with this BUT it really is a nice car "One Year Later"!!!

I absolutely love my 2015 Ford Fusion titanium FULLY loaded. Only thing I regret not having is awd, especially in the Midwest. The only mechanical issue I’ve had is a bad tied rod at 32,000 miles. And a leaky sunroof. Covered under warranty. I’m obsessed with this car.

I bought a low mileage 2015 Ford Fusion Titanium, Bronze Fire Metallic, Eco Boost 10 months ago, very impressed with this car, all the bells and whistles, I thought heated seats were a joke, I was wrong, it handles well and I've had several compliments on how great it looks. I love my car!

I just had a Fusion Titanium 2.0L turbo for a rental this past week and I only got about 23 MPG in it in a mix of city/highway driving. The 23 MPG is what I calculated myself at the pump, whereas the trip computer claimed I got 27 MPG. I wasn't driving the car that hard or driving excessive speeds on the highway.

Old video, but I say if you like this car then just keep it. Do all what you said you were going to do and just enjoy the car, maybe pay it off and enjoy not having a payment. These 2.0 ecoboost are nice little engines.

Late 2016 Mondeos not equipped with Dynamic LED headlamps come with a new foglamp unit that includes a daytime running light. Maybe you can look into getting those? They'll be DRLs in the foglamp bits in the bumper but not the headlamps though. But they'll probably require a lot less effort to install than all new LED headlamps or bi-xenon headlamps. I have seen some of those for Fusions, they basically are knockoff copies of Mondeo Dynamic LED units.

Keep what you have at least another year. Consider a 2018 later so any teething problems that come up on the new models can be avoided.

You say that you doubt whether you would be able to afford 50k for a Lincoln, wherein 1 year down the line you will be owning a 90k Mercedes AMG... Amazing mathematics!! Gr8 video though

Gotta be too tempting working at a dealership seeing all the new stuff coming out to keep a car for long. I've done all kinds of mods to my truck but its long since paid for and older, the wifes we lease, her choice...her payment, her daily driver, since she likes to have something new every few years so we keep the mods on those to a minimum. You know better than me but seems like Lincolns really depreciate in value quickly as a purchase although they are very nice. Seems like they would be a better lease.

the throttle bodies are horrible on these. 8 months into ownership and my engine started cutting off at the most random moments, such as at red lights, driving on busy streets, FAST LANE ON HIGHWAYS. No warning either, it just cuts off. braking became very hard and steering was damn near impossible. and when I took it to the dealership, they gave it back to me a week later. As I was on the way home from picking it up, I attempted to accelerate through a red light and the engine shut off again, also decreasing my braking power and steering ability, which caused me to run a red light and receive a $75 ticket. After laying the dealership out the same day, the guy at the front desk that previously spoke with me the first time I brought it in told me that they had no proof of the throttle body ever being worked on in the first place. They've since replaced it but it does not drive as smooth as it used to. It vibrates quite a lot and my MPG has dropped like crazy, going from an already low 17mpg to a 13mpg average in a month. Even when driving below the speed limit at almost all times, it has only increased by 0.3mpg. After calling the dealer yesterday, I told them what was wrong and now they're saying that the throttle body has nothing to do with the fuel efficiency and they are blaming ME for it. My experience with the 2016 Fusion has been complete shit so far. It sounds nice though if that is a plus for anyone reading this.

Your driving 20 minutes to work and you are thinking about 320 or 400HP? Why would you need it your probably going to get tickets boosting it not to mention increased gas consumption. You could get on the list for a Tesla 3 that's as quick as you would ever need.

The seat movement fwd is not for midget drivers Mike. its to increase load bay length in the back if you want to carry a long item. or need to place a bulky item on the floor in the back.

I'm thinking about getting the fusion titanium awd. How does that compare to a well equipped se. I noticed that the center console is slightly different. I'm fa,liar with ford product my wife has the Ford Explorer 2015 and I have a 2012 focus titanium. BtwI love that color bronze with the light colored interior

How much less do you pay for car than the general public? Do you get a discount on used cars as well? I have a Fusion that I just got about 2 weeks ago. I really love it and I am glad it has Sync 2 and not 3. I really do not like how 3 looks at all. I have had no problems with the car yet. Do you ever use sport mode? 2017 Ford Fusion Sport with the 2.7 liter V6. AWD That'll have lots of power and it's still a wonderful Fusion!

Just got a 2015 fusion se frontwd and it feels like the tail end sways/fishtails/goes left than right and back and forth when going over highway bumps at 70 / 80. What could do that?

hey man haven't even finished the video yet. just wanted to let you know from personal experience that having your laptop running while on the seat can mess it up really bad. (the computer not the seat) idk why but it's supposed to be on a hard surface. completely ruined mine couldn't even get it repaired. not sure what is does to it or why it does it. just wanted to chime in and maybe save you a few hundred bucks. I bought a little laptop platform from office Depot for around 20 bucks and haven't had any problems.

I heard you saying in another video that Fusion is more spacious "especially back seats" than Taurus. isn't the Fusion a mid sedan compared to the supposedly full sedan Taurus?

My 2016 fusion wipers don't go all the way down when your turn them off..the still have another inch or so to go....so then, the next time I turn ON the ignition, they go down all the way.. this always happens when I turn the wipers ON only at the lowest setting... according to the Ford Techs, this is normal operation.. have you noticed this?

Is a 2015 Fusion Titanium with 15k miles worth it? It costs $20k and looks clean and has clean carfax...I'm worried about mechanical or electrical issues because my current car(06 Mazda6 GT 3.0 Duratec V6) has been a nightmare engine-wise..fully rebuilt and only has 78k miles. I need a car that will last me through my university years without problems. I do also have a 2001 Explorer SportTrac with 222k miles, and that's holding on just fine except for some suspension problems but i don't enjoy driving it at all...I like good handling cars not trucks...anyway, I'm just indecisive and don't know if another Ford product is worth it, but next to the other options I have(Kia Optima, Hyundai Sonata, Chrysler 200) the Fusion's a bargain.

I noticed that the Ford Fusion 2015 Titanium FDW I was trying purchase has all the features you mentioned in your other videos except the Navigation system. For some reason the car, which was bought from another dealership does not have the Navigation system embedded within the My Ford Touch System. I was thinking about purchasing the car and taking it over to a local Ford dealership and see what they have to say about the situation. Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

Hi! I got a 2016 Fusion SE back in July of 2015. I love the car but I have one thing wrong with it I would like to get fixed free of charge hopefully. One of the round plastic covers that cover the wheels during transit scuffed one of my wheels. It has black like scratches on it. Is there any mechanical issues or just general issues you found with yours besides the light colored seats and the lights not being led and the lettering on the back? On the older models I've heard they have alot of wind noise and the dash coming away from the windshield so I'm steering clear from the 2013s

Hi, I own a 2015 Fusion Ecoboost SE, bought in last Nov, I love the car, but I have a question... I don't know if you have the same issue, when the gear shifts at low speeds from 1st to 2nd and I leave the pedal the car pushes itself automatically like its trying to accelerate. I feel the transmission is a bit weird during the 1st few gear changes. Is this normal in your car as well ?

Is there a secondary fuel gauge display? What if something goes wrong with the screen or display system? You'll never know how much gas is left if that system goes awry.

my ford mondeo 2.0lt 150 bhp 2015 reg is supposed to do 68mpg i get 45/47 mixed driving 54 ish on the motor way so i think it sucks plus ive had this car back to ford to try and up the mpg figures still to no avail so anyway like your vids oh if you know anything about the gas probs on my model of ford that they can actually improve the mpg to anywhere near what they say my car should do i would appreciate it greatly please let me know thank you sir .

I bought a 2016 a few weeks ago and for some reason when I Bluetooth my music it will randomly start skipping the song when I'm driving. I read some stuff saying it's because Apple is always updating and that ford doesn't buy licensing? Does anyone know if I can fix that so it doesn't skip the song? Or is there actually something wrong with my car?
