Just getting an oil change at a Chevy dealer for my 2017 Suburban. They pulled mine out and wanted $75 to change it. Bought one for $10 and did myself. Thanks for the video!
Definitely helpful. I thought cabin air filters were a scam. Then I found this video, and swapped mine out after the dealership wanted to charge about $100. I bought the filter for $15, and with this video, able to do it myself. Took about fifteen minutes. Definitely not a scam, as that filter was dirty and dead June bugs (potato bugs) all over it. Glad I found this video.
Great video for a refresh. I've done this before. Took me 30 minutes. I have big hands so a bit of a challenge removing the honeycomb door and putting it back. Saved a few bucks. Thank you.
Big warning on changing the air filter.....There are possibly leaves above the filter....if you just pull out the filter....the leaves fall down into the big fan. That requires you to remove the fan below the filter. So warning. Possibly you can vacuum down below the air filter for leaves. My repair guy changed the filter and bad noises followed after I picked up the car. I spent the morning removing the fan and cleaning it out. The bottom cover below the glove box is not fun to remove.
