Replace stock outside mirrors on a 2018 Ford F150 with Boost Auto Parts Tow mirrors. (Same for 2015 - 2021 F150) You can use the same procedure to remove any F-150 factory OEM mirrors and install tow mirrors made by anybody. The process will be the same. These mirrors, as configured in this video, have power folding, power adjust, heated top and bottom sections, BLIS indicators, puddle lamps, spot lamps, switchback indicator turn signals, right side external temperature sensor.

My 2020 came with those mirrors. You're going to love the "fish eye" on the bottom. Nobody can hide in your blind spot and it's great being able to see your back tires when you are backing into a parking spot.

Do you get much wind noise with these? The truck I just bought has tow mirrors, but I’m not sure what brand they are, definitely not OEM. The wind noise and whistling is crazy loud.

Thank you for watching, Sammy! I get a slight amount out of the driver's side. I'm going to cover all the cracks with masking tape and see if I can remove them one at a time to find the exact spot whistling. Hopefully I can file it down, refit the part or something to stop it. It's not enough to be annoying, and I only hear it when the window is down, but I still want it gone. :) I'll update you if I figure it out.

Hello, Just wanted to follow up on these mirrors. No problems with the blis system, or any errors showing up with the new mirrors? Getting a 2019 f15 Lariat and want to switch out to these type of tow mirrors. thanks

Hey Larry, thanks for watching. I haven't had any operational problems at all. Mine have BLIS, heated top and bottom portions, and powered adjustment for the top portions. All work fine. The only issue I've had is a slight wind whistle in one of them between 45 and 50 mph. I can only hear it when I have my windows down. I'm in the process of finding the whistle and fixing it. But that is the only problem I've had.

Thanks for watching! I don't think I ever had my '04 Expedition in a video, I traded it years ago. I do have an '03 F150 that I've used in a few vids. I still have it.....316,000 miles so far! They offered me $1500 on the trade when I recently got this 2018, so I decided to keep it. Might sell it later, but for now, it is running great and no issues, so just hanging on to it. :)

My 2020 F150 XLT, didn't come with heated mirrors. I was planning to upgrade to that style of mirror that is also heated. Would I have to do anything differently for changing mirrors?

Thanks for watching, Landon! I don't know the details, of how to do this, but I'd assume you'd need a portion of the wiring harness to allow for heated mirrors and probably also some programming mods.
