Just did this on my new-to-me 226k mi 2008 Camry. The filter was completely black on top and covered in leaves and pine straw. So nasty, don’t think it had ever been changed.
Thanks for watching, Richard! The full reasoning is in the video description, but the short version is that the builder installed the wrong hand entry door, based on the way the porch is built. We'd exit right into a wall if I put the same hand storm door in, so later, I changed the entry door.
Great job....thanks. Funny thing is, .... I could see better in your video than I could in person from under the tractor. Thanks for that view....awesome!
To save a bit of grease on the first greasing install a poece of thick wall pcv pipe that you can drop in the housing. Just cut it a bit short 1/8" is plenty, this lets the grease flow around it. This pvc pipe helps fill the empty space in the housing.
Great video. It really helped us install our door. Started by reading the instructions but it was your detailed hands on step by step that really helped. You added all the tips. Did struggle a bit with the hand set.
Thanks so much for sharing. My son and I made one of these for his wedding arbor, and he'll use it in his yard afterwards!!! Easy to follow video and went together quickly!!!
SO, Im riding along with my hood off mowing my yard when all of a sudden I see oil shoot out of the RH side of the engine. I cut the engine off and find the yellow plastic part of that quick oil drain valve POS has come off. NOT COOL! So, I threw the metal part of that valve away, ordered & installed a Briggs 1723165SM Oil Drain Hose $15. I HATE those quick N easy oil drain valves as I had this same thing happen on my John Deere. I dont trust them. I have a drain hose on my Deere and on my TroyBilt too. !
I was bush hoggin a property and snapped 3 belts. 1 right after the other. 1-2-3. I was puzzled for awhile but finally, I found the deck belt tension was loose and when I drove into heavy deep grass/weeds, the belt was slipping causing the belt to overheat and fail. Who'da thought? !
Great video, right to the point. I love that people make videos for others to learn on RU-vid, but often there's a lot of added un-needed content just to get to the 10 minute mark. You do not do that, so thank you! 😎
Exceptional narrative video..superb. you need to contact company and get paid to do this for all other like companies. O wish there were many more humans like you in our world.....thank you much. I changed the belts but the tractor only moves slowly forward and in reverse?
Thank you so much, Harold! I appreciate you watching! I'd triple check the belt routing and, be sure the tension pulley is putting enough tension to keep the belt from slipping.
Thank you so very much! It was a bear getting that glove box lid off but I stuck with it and I did it! 62 year old female used her muscle and determination with your excellent video!
Thanks for watching! It depends on the window, but a lot of the non-tilting vinyl windows have takeout clips in the channel. You can pull them out, raise the window, and the sash springs will catch under the takeout clips and you can then remove the sash and leave the sash springs in the channel. Replace them in the opposite way. I hope this helps.
Thank you. I just want you to know that you’re helping a lot of people to save money for unnecessary expenses. I’m an Engineer; even a guy like me is relying on your video because I wanna know how much I need to turn the bulb and which way because I don’t wanna break the already weak plastic structure in my 15 years old headlight. Now I know - 1/8 turn Counterclockwise. Appreciate you!
Thanks for the video, if the hose or gun clog when using you just have to put your finger over the nozzle and pull the triger, it blows air back up the sand hose and clears any blockage. Muriatic acid will take that bell down to bare metal, just be careful of the fumes because not only are they toxic but they are also Corrosive Do not use inside. You can use a plastic tote for big things and a plastic Colander for small parts. Rinse everything with water and then spray with wd 40 to displace any water and Protect the metal From rusting. Before painting Clean with oil and grease remover to get the wd 40 off.
I just watched your video. I have a question about this. I noticed there’s not a lot of room between the 3 1/2”nipple from the block and the frame of the mower. Does the motor twist on the frame from the torque of it? I’m afraid that it might break the nipple and cause more problems. Thank you for your advice.
Thanks for watching, Dave! Since the engine is directly bolted to the frame, there's no movement between the two of them so no risk to the nipple. I've not had a bit of trouble with this since installing several years ago.
That was incredibly helpful!! Thank you, I never understood how to tighten the bolt to the toggle after it was in the wall. Now I feel ready to do it right this time!
The vendor sells through Amazon (link is in the video description). Once I placed my order, I got an email from them asking for my VIN. Thanks for watching, Mike!
so in theory, since there’s no key to hold the blade in a preset position, just two washers, one could say you can use star pattern husqvarna blades as long as the 3/8” bolt fits through with a just a hair of play, but not too much? asking a hypothetical for my neighbor.
thanks for the plans i made six last march and fledged over 40 bluebirds and 20 wrens and a few sparrows and one attempted clutch of tree swallows i am completing four more boxes today Not bad for a seventy year old lady!!! I appreciated your lesson on blunting a nail I used screws but stored that info for another time! have a happy day
