The car might have benefited from being changed from second to third gear a little earlier. Seems like it runs out of puff before you change, especially in the second attempt
If you unblock the filters and remap it the engine is good for 145hp 240lbs 320mn. Then top end pushes until 4500 rpm because filters are unclogged, so engine can breath better.
@@jakelamotta2387 The peak of torque is from 1.5k to 3.0k RPM, you should shift when approaching 3.5-4.0k RPM to ensure you stay in the optimal power band.
@@icyrainice I know I've heard this shit over a million times. My pint is; if he was timing a Top Speed run or a 150km run(anything over 63/64mph) then change gear at the max power. But he was timing 0-100km, so in this case it wouldv been faster to not chnage into 3rd gear, purely because he's only timing until 100km, which is capable in second gear.
0:18 - 0:28 Wow 10secs is pretty good for a 1.6l engine. I think it couldv veen faster if u hadnt changed into 3rd. This car is capeable of gitting 60 in 2nd gear it wouldv saved time but great video still!
Your the stupid one. U must be completely thick or jst know nothing about cars. The Rev Limiter and Redline are two completely different things ffs. redline is at 5000 limiter is at 5600. Like I said my brother had this car and it easily hit 61, 62 mph in 2nd. Now piss off.
I have the same car from 2014, but I don't have the digital speedometer, nor do i have the option to check the fuel consumption ? Is there some software issue?
