In this video, I'll share the top reasons why I decided to purchase my 2015 (B8.5) Audi RS5 Coupe. From the performance to design, I'll explain why the RS5 is the perfect used car to buy in 2024. #2015 #audi #rs5
I copped a 2015 a few months back. Best decision, a third of msrp, 70k miles, everything working. It’s a sleeper, timeless look and amazing engine. You don’t see any of these around. Might keep it forever 😂
I ve got mine 4 years ago and I will never ever sell it unless its getting totaled :D Was thinking of modifying it for a long time now, but it still has only 40k km on the clock so I'm hesitant... P.S u rly don't need a radio in this car... and it puts a smile on ur face every time u start it ;) I rly recommend this car, cuz it has this special feeling to it, like it has a soul and real identity. A perfect blend of new tech and old school mechanics, there is rly nothing else like it out there. Also I think that the value will sky rocket in the upcoming years for sure! this is the last samurai guys :D and we are not getting anything like it ever again... Btw it never broke down or anything and I drive it rly hard on daily basis, going 300km/h on the autobahn n stuff... so just get it till u can, cuz there s not a lot of them left out there!
Bought my 2015 RS5 Cabriolet in 2021 and love it. Because it’s NA there aren’t much in the way of mods available. Exhaust is probably the primary mod and I plan to install one from AWE in the next few weeks. Enjoy your new ride!
I have a RS5 B8.5 in sepang blue in the UK I agree they are a stunning vehicle from any angle. I’ve added some mods to mine that suit what I wanted from this timeless beautiful car. I upgraded to KW coilovers & this really increases the ride quality. I’ve replaced the air filters with K&N & had a stage 1 tune, it now has 525bhp & 530kn of torque. These figures are a result of a having a full service & fitting titanium plugs also before the tune. I ran it with an ECS XPipe first which was a great sound but gave too much cabin drone, so I swapped it for a Scorpion full system which gives a truly great bass sound without the drone. I’d recommend this option myself 👍
Whats the maintenance like??? I recently turned 21 and moving soon. Never needed a car since i worked across the street. I really want one as my first car.
@@Kingdoperks regular annual maintenence is pretty much the same as a4 or a6. Drinks a lot more fuel though. Brake pads and tyres are expensive but they last long. Only the dsg related issues are very expensive to fix if they arise. Nothing actually matters when you let the glorious v8 sing past 5k rpm all the way to the redline.
These have been a dream car of mine for the last few years now. I found a sepang blue one with an excellent service history for a price I couldn't refuse. The car arrived with a check engine light and timing codes. The codes cleared, it runs smooth, and drives well. I still get a warning to not exceed 6000 rpm if it's been sitting for several days. I get the feeling I'm not going to get to enjoy the car to its fullest until I save up enough to service the timing chain.
timing chain? probably the last thing it would be. start with VVT sensor or cam sensor. change oil 0W-40 or 5w-40 Audi 502 spec, check senor signal, check spark plugs, check coil packs, check motor mounts. you know the stuff that doesnt need an engine out check/repair. If timing is out thats not something to wait on and "just keep driving". seriously.
Man that looks so sick - Very tempted to buy one myself but the cost of the brakes and tyres has me feeling nervous 😅 Congrats on the purchase though, such a timeless vehicle, it'll never go out of style!
you didnt really mention this but 2015 is the ONLY year the 4.2 is available on these facelift models. i currently have a 2012 s5 with the 4.2 and i wish i had a facelift s5 but no v8 is a dealbreaker for me.
Thanks for the suggestion! The goal is to get a capristo exhaust system but I’ve heard the resonator delete is the best bang for your buck. Def will keep it as a top option
@@ArnoldjchangI just did an ecs x pipe in place of the center res. Opens it up quite a bit, sounds pretty good but a bit raspy. I’m in the same boat as you, saving up for a capristo but the x pipe is definitely good bang for buck in meantime
