I have nothing but admiration for Maria Kuchina/Lasitskene! Her focus, attitude and concentration are superb. No antics or exaggerations (like some of the others). Just sheer talent and commitment.
Seriously , 16:24 , I can relate and feel sympathy for this gal(Doreen Amata of Nigeria) having to high jump off a bad knee . At the age of 15 i sacrificed my knee in stupid american football . I liked and was good at other sports prior , but after tearing my acl no good at sports anymore and now hurting just to take a walk .
38:25 Немке удался прыжок, с которым она выиграла бы соревнования.Но класс определяется стабильно хорошими прыжками.The German woman succeeded in jumping, with which she would win the competition. But the class is determined by consistently good jumps.
in not wrong most of country very good on female high jump are ex soviet such as Rusia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Lithuania and also ex eastern bloc
Is that Les Patterson's daughter? I didn't know Les what a phenomenal high jumper in his youth. Wow, he kept that a secret - and what a good-looking woman he must have married, surely from the ranks of the Australian royalty!
Hoping that Blanka and Anna can keep going until the 2021 (?) Olympics. Blanka brings the total works to high jumping in her own unique way - holy water crucifixes piles of Bibles and zealous prayer,, dancing, sport's tiniest panties, spring loaded leg extensions, gallons of tears, crowd conducting......... Whilst Anna - I'm trembling too much to type......
Ivan Sanders They should have just gone ahead with the Olympics this September. The hype has died done, nobody in the athletes and trainer camp is even remotely in danger of dying from this virus. A half full stadium+masks+risk groups staying home is more than safe enough. So sick of the hype and the fear...
Decades ago, before over-eating and processed foods were common place, a large percent of women looked like this.. Go back 100 yrs., the majority would be what most consider "skinny". To be thin, well-exercised and well nourished is ideal. This statement doesn't even take into account size and conditioning for the high jump........... Nowadays to be overweight is the norm and to say anything about it is "body shaming" - a term not used a decade ago
No, a hundred years ago the majority of women were thin because they were ill nourished due to overwork and poverty . Middle class and higher class females were of all shapes but generally plump but not obese . imho you are confusing what you feel is attractive(and yes I find thin females attractive too) is common . Fact is these female world class high jumpers genetic body type is rare . They find out or someone sees that they have a body type that is quite flexible and are adequate to above normal jumping ability . Then some are encouraged and supported to train to be high jumpers. Females like men have different body types they are born with . If you are a female with large hips and lose too much weight , your face will look gaunt , wrinkled and tired and your lovely large hips won't become much thinner . I find a female who stays at her natural musculoskeletal weight has a younger and prettier face , and is over all healthy .
It’s kind of disappointing all the comments are about how hot they are if if there not it’s about how they look like skeletons. I want to be a high jumper and if I was at an event I’d want people to admire my skill not my ass cheeks
Все люди разные. у всех свой метод настроя.. Они все классные, было бы скучно будь они все копиями друг друга, а так.. Маша, Аня, Бланка, австралийка... Все классные, красивые девочки!
