I appreciate the comment Scott. There wasn’t much out there when I bought it and the bike deserves some RU-vid attention. I did everything on that bike. The only thing it didn’t do well was idle in traffic - thing got HOT!
When I bought it I didn’t have much experience and wanted to clutch but I feel differently now. I’ll inquire when I take it in for the 18000 mile service. Thanks
Great to see you posting Min, I have just got back from the Canary Islands, they're a group of Islands under Spanish control about 60 mile off the north west coast of Africa, lovely place , great roads & really cheap, when my missus can retire I think we may move to Southern Spain, the UK is a veritable shithole. When you mentioned getting another bike your choices , the Super Duke is a beast of a machine, but the Aprillia Tuono is a beautiful machine, over here various road testers rave about it, that would be the one for me. Hmmm, you know I had a 2014 S1000R and it had a quick shifter UP, but not down? Have you checked your programming to see if you can activate it? As I recall mine could be turned off in the electronics. In any case watching this made me nostalgic for the ol' "Red Baron."
