Have my 2019 Sebring orange 1lz now 7 months 1800 miles. Not even interested in the c8. This car will be my last. Absolutely in love with her. I love your car. Great color.

Manual or auto ? ?? I got got a 2017 3LZ Z06 with 6000miles full ppf ported throttle body x pipe and air filter upgrade . I don't need anything more it's incredible
amazing color, we have the same year. thank you so much for the heads up on the brake fluid. I daily mine as a grocery getter. I can fit 40 gallons of milk and other things in there. Amazing trunk space. =)
Great video, Mike. I agree. The C7 IS amazing. Absolutely the best Corvette ever. So far, I have only had 2 issues. First, is the transmission, obviously. Mine has scared the crap out of me a couple of times with that "lurching" action, too. The other issue is the black material in the HUD area on the dashboard. It has started to bubble. Neither of these are truly serious, in my opinion. Oh, the subject is a '16 Z51 Spice Redditor packaged convertible (1 of 29) with 6500 miles. Man, I love this car! Great job again, Mike. Thanks.
Thanks, Mike! Yeah, the transmission thing is annoying and will hopefully be fixed on Monday! I haven't experienced the bubbling up thing and I hopefully won't, that sounds like an even bigger annoyance! First, wow, simply wow what a car. Second; people can say whatever they want about Mercedes, Bmw, Aston Martin...but boy oh boy...take a look at them prices... American car manufacturers, and this is just a personal opinion, are the BEST in the world. From the Corvette to the Mustang, from the Escalade to the Lincoln Navigator, simply the best. As of now, I am broke lol, but I already know what cars I would like if I were able to get them. Wish you a magnificent and Blessed day, Sir. Andrew Ps: my dream car is still a 2014 Shelby GT500, but a Corvette is also there lol...I'm a huge Ford fan, but Chevy amazed me with the Corvette, has always amazed me and I hope it will in the future as well.
Mike another great video! You give such excellent perspective having had both the C5 and C6 Z06’s! Love my C7 Z51, but you continue to confirm... I will make the C7 Z06 happen!
Just my own opinion...I love the videos coming out with the new C8 flat plane crank Z06, I think it's incredible. However, I don't think it's readily obtainable. The C7 Z06 actually looks better to me. and if I sell my CTS-V I might buy one. Thanks for the video!
Best thing to do if you dont track the car, is take it and get it aligned and take the camber out of the front and back ... its like a 100 bucks in change and your tires will last easy 30,000 miles
So glad you do these info videos. I currently own a C6, JSB, 3Lt. It's my first ever corvette and, I kick myself because it took so long to get one. I wish to add to the fold and purchase a 17-19 Grand Sport or Z06. You are absolutely correct, it is a fantastic experience. When I am ready, I plan to contact corvette world where you do your reviews and take a trip from my home in NW Fla. I am never disappointed in the fine looking stock. I am also very impressed by the knowledge of the sales staff. Once I get my ducks in a row, I'm there. Will be fantastic to have my Wife in one and I in the second. Quality time in a quality way. I bought this same year/ same spec (only 1LZ & 8,200 miles) and take delivery via auto logistics this Friday! Looking forward to following you and watching your videos! I slept two hours the other night overthinking everything I want to do, lol I plan to change ALL fluids in the car to synthetic and Dot 4 brake fluid too. Didn’t know about the MagRide update, but will look into that. Then, ACS rock guards, front and rear. Like you, previous owner has clear bra on stage 3, hood and fenders. I’ll take it in to get the rest of the car over the winter. Got the Passport 360 Max on its way. Let the fun begin!!!
I just last week walked away from a 2016 Z06.with 39k miles on it. The car sounded awesome. No soot or oil residue on the exhaust. Why? Because I was would have been the fifth owner and that the extended warranty I wanted to buy wouldn’t pay for a twenty grand engine if something went wrong!
"Where can you find a car under 100k that looks this good - you can't". Jaguar F type and Porsche owners have now entered the chat. But yeah, the C7 does look good, better than the C8 anyway.

I also experienced the lurch in my A8 auto when coming to a stop. I found that using manual mode coming to a stop, downshifting down to at least 4th gear before stopping completely gets rid of that forward lurch.
Old video? Yes I know. I might be in the market for a C7 Z06 so I'm watching. Just wanted to say I have put Continental tires on my old ZR-1 and my 2011 Cadillac CTS-V they are inexpensive great performance tires. Love the Connies...
Hey Mike great video. Cool blue nice. I have the 2015 ZO6. Couple of questions for you or anyone. You answered one question. All ZO6’s have Mag Ride. Couldn’t find the answer anywhere. 2. No heated steering wheel for the cold climate. Does the C8 have that option. 3rd and final question. It’s on the TACH. A blue line pops up on the tach when I’m having fun. High rpm but not red line. I m trying to figure that one out. So far no luck .Thanks for all your videos. Good stuff. Be safe. BTW. My car runs great.
Hi yah doin’ here from the concrete jungle Brooklyn NY. I have a new 18 Stingray with 4500 mile that’s torque tube failed on and I literally drive it like a senior citizen and never have track it. Is this common on C7’s? Otherwise an exceptional car for sure. Can’t wait for C8. Smile 😃
😆 No it’s actually called a torque tube. It’s the (prop)eller shaft (a shaft inside a tube that connects the Motor to the Transaxle. The bearings failed that ride between shaft and outer tube. Maybe better bearing are needed for these cars. It just seemed strange that it failed so soon since I have only driven it for 3 months before it failed despite me never racing or tracking this New left over 2018 stingray. Maybe it had to do something with down shifting with the paddles when I’ve used them on occasion.This is an awesome car I could bought the a used z06 for the same price but I opted for factory warranty ( Bradley Chevrolet give 10 year 100k on drive train) and the daily drivability as far as MPG’s go. This is still an awesome car tho. Can’t wait for the 2020 dude!🤷🏻♂️
Thanks again for all your great C8 videos. We've all been waiting for an awesome all new C8. This may change but I'm currently not impress with the C8 rear. GM should have learned when the C7 overheated. C8 has a lot of additional cooling but theres very little rear engine venting for cooling and very small exhaust tips. License plate area way to large, rear lights look horrible dated and boring. The all new C8 needs much more exotic tail lights, rear design, speed control spoiler and diffuser. I wont to buy C8 Z06 or ZR1 if the rear looks better.
Awesome Review!!! The Corvette's has always been a dream car since i was just a young boy and now, I am In the process of looking for a Z06! I have Paid off my Evo X and can finally afford one. Which Needless to say is very exciting for me. I am Currently Looking all over for the one that will suit me. It's very hard finding an M7 with the options that I want though! Any who Awesome review, This helps me gain some more knowledge!

Thanks great review...I own a 2010 ZR1 and was going to hold out for a C8 Z06 but think I'll go get me a C7 Z06...thing is I want it in red and a manual so it takes time now that they don't make the C7 anymore...I do like that blue however and if I can't find a red one I'll get that blue.
Jack Hammer You’re welcome and I’m glad you enjoyed it. You will enjoy the C7 Z06 big time and you can probably find a great deal on one too. Red is my favorite color but this Laguna blue is pretty sweet as well.
Hi I’ve been watching your channel for some time and you do a GREAT JOB. I’m on the list for a C8 which I believe I’d receive ‘hopefully’ a year from now. In the mean time I’ve been looking at C7 z06 ads and watching videos to underrstand the plus and minuses of each year beginning in 2015. My currently debating a 2015 C7 z06 07 with less than 1000 miles. Given you’ve had a number of z06’s what year do you consider being the best mechanically and would you buy a 2015 again if it had all the features you like? Thanks and keep up the great work...

So Brink of Speed, I know you are now the proud owner of the new C8. I have a 2017 black rose ZO6 and love it. Consequently I don't plan on changing it out anytime soon. Since you've owned both what is your take on a comparison of the two? Thanks & enjoy your beautiful ride!
Just found this video and ive had a 2018 CTS V for a couple years great car that comes from these vetts, Now how can i manslain to the wife I'd like to buy one of these.
Man I love Corvettes and I've owned one but overheating, lurching at stop lights, and DOT3 brake fluid over heating? Doesn't seem minor to me! Also the squeak in the seat belt/roof would be unacceptable for a $90K+ car. I hope the later models 2017-2019 they addressed these issues. Still a sweet car though!
90k cars have issues too , so do 200k cars , your dillusional to.think they don't.... squeaks rattles engines grenade ..... ferrari super unreliable .... this car .....embarrasses cars 3x its value on a track .
Hey friend! You are the guy that had the silver C6Z, right? We spoke before. I ended up with a Ron Fellows #294 of 399 made, autographed C6Z. Love the car! Honestly even the interior actually looks decent in my edition. Glad to see you are enjoying the C7Z. I really love my car and I can’t see needing more power lol. Love that blue color and it’s cool to see the top comes off. One gripe is my C6Z doesn’t have removable top. Must be a lot of fun
Brink of Speed nah, I just remember this one guy with a silver one on RU-vid a while ago. You look like him a lot. He had a collection of cars, challenger too I think. Some classics. I was in Arizona and moved to North Carolina a few months ago
Have you experienced any issues with the leather dash with the 3LZ package? The dash is starting to bubble on my 2016 3LZ Z06. Curious to know if there is a way to prevent this.
I'm back. You mentioned your '03 ZO6, was this an Anniversary Edition? I only ask in that I've never seen an Anniversary Edition ZO6. If you were to keep your C7, would you do any bolt-ons and a tune? As always, Save the Wave.

Hi everyone, my 2016 ZO6 have shacking or jurking trasmastion or could be moter,not sure. I take her to CHEVROLET, but refused to even do anything. It's been a year now. I been visiting CHEVROLET over 5 times. The just tell me nothing wrong, but man I lost power know in 5gears under nagative 0 psi on super charged. It's shaking before the Super charge kick in. I live with lemon or is it normal. Does any of you corvette c7 zo6 experience the same problem. Is this normal. In STOP light I have push the gas pedal to keep up with others. We hardly drive the car. ONLY 8k miles on. Please can any one tell me.
