2015 Chevy Trax Chirping Fixed 

Great suggestion. Saved me a lot of time. Easy to check. Would try this first before placing any parts.

thanks!! same plug loose on my daughters 2015 trax and the others definitely were not torqued down good enough when i checked them . chirping gone now

Just replaced my plugs and ignition coil recently, soon as I started driving that chirping happened I will be trying the same thing you did today. I will update you later

My just started making a noise. But it starts as soon as we turn it on. Sounds like it’s under like what you described.

Just replaced all 4 spark plugs and the coil pack last week. Chirping so loud when in idle too though. Ran a diagnostic and code P0302 hasn’t gone away still and I’ve driven over 150 miles. I reset it hoping if any are messed up it’ll run on another test soon. Read online sometimes spark plugs are loud and need to be lubricated , does it matter with what? I know my dad only had wd40 type stuff and it’s driving me nuts. Had a friend help me install and he’s an ex mechanic. He did not have a torque wrench and just did it fairly tight.

I just had this on my daughters 16 trax 144,000 miles. Same plug…wonder what causes it? Also, I think you can change to the green anti freeze if you flush the whole system.

I'm getting the same cherping when I accelerate too. Started as soon as I put new plugs and ignition coil in. Any clue as to why or what I should do??

How do u get rid of the ratting noise tho
