Best defense ever!! And that’s factssss, they tortured the best qb to ever play the game Tom Brady twice that year. Gave the MVP Cam Newton the worse experience of his life in super bowl 50, he hasn’t been the same since and if you watch this video it was the defense that won 95% of these games and that’s from week 1 with little to none offensive help! That defense was crazy good, best we’ve seen in a long time including the L.O.B
As a native, and lifelong Bronco fan, I'm just glad Bowlen was able to see Superbowl 50 end up this way. He's the guy that brought us 3 Superbowl wins. Never forget that!
Osweiler really did do us a solid that season-not sure many other 'backup' QB's could keep the momentum going in the right direction for as many games as he did, not that he didn't have a great team to help him out along the way; but jeez, dude had a solid stretch, beat Brady, and kept us in it-a well earned ring indeed, this team was superbowl bound from the start. Happy guys like Osweiler, McManus-and others got the recognition for the work they put in.. Haven't seen a cutthroat D-Fence like this combined with an electric offense in a long time. Go Broncos!
Best Sports Season/Sports Yr. of my Life..Broncos Won, Royals Won, Rockets to the Conf. Finals, Lightning(no longer their fan, root for VEGAS) to the Stanley Cup Final.. Nothing before(1966)or since, has matched it.
We’ll miss you so much, Von. Hope you find success in LA and stay healthy. We understand it’s a business. But we all know you’re still a Bronco for life and will be in the HOF as a Bronco. My favorite Bronco of all time. #58
My grandpa was the biggest bronco fan in the world, the entire basement in his house was completely decked out in memorabilia that he had been collecting for over 50 years. He even got a hold of actual seats from mile high stadium. Everyone called it the bronco room, and that’s where we would watch every away game. He was in a 6 year long battle with colon cancer, but he would still go to every home game and tailgate party while hooked up to chemo. We were there to see the Broncos beat the patriots in the AFC championship, and we watched them win Super Bowl 50 in the bronco room. Getting to experience that win was one of the best moments in my entire life. My grandpa passed in 2017, but at the time, the broncos were still the defending Super Bowl champions. Rest easy Papa Dale, and go broncos🧡💙
Peyton may not have been the same player he once was but his leadership was off the charts. That team followed him and respected him. Very few QBs could command a team like that. Especially an aging QB!
Peyton Manning in 2015 when trailing in the 4th Quarter of a one possession game: 61.5% completion rate 288 yards (11.1 YPA) 2 TDs (7.7% TD%) 1 INT (3.8% INT%) 109.1 Passer Rating - 5-1 W-L Record (83.3%) on Game-Winning Drives - Led NFL in Game-Winning Drives (5)
That AFC Championship Game vs the Pats, with all the Pats' offensive weapons healthy, WAS the Superbowl. I knew once the Broncos beat the Pats that they would eventually beat the overrated Panthers.
@@DAKreates don't forget the same players who beat up carolina were the same players that didn't play in that sb against Seattle denver had a lot of injured players that year
I watch this to remind us of our great franchise . We might suck now, but we have to remember what our Franchise is about. We need more respect honestly when 12 franchises don't even have any rings. DB4L. We will get there again and haters will talk but honestly look at the stats. I feel like fans now get so hyped but forget their franchise has never won; Ie Chargers.
We just signed Peyton! And the last time we signed a Peyton we went to 2 Super Bowls in 4 years. Hopefully Sean Peyton adds more glory to the Broncos franchise.
I just got done watching my Broncos 2015 season and it was just like yesterday to me that we won super bowl #50 7years went by like wth.miss my Broncos of the past and let's get it done Broncos of today....
I’ll never understand how a defense in the conversation of best of all time, was so insanely underrated. By the announcers, by predictions, by fans. They though cam was gonna come in and beat these guys??
I was at the bengals over time game. Had to call of from work. It was super cold. But man was that a good game. It was a good time to be a broncos fan.!
That final week was so huge. It was either a one seed or a six seed for the Broncos. Dolphins beat the Pats to give the Broncos a huge lift for the playoffs. Without the Dolphins beating the Pats, I'm not so confident the Broncos go all the way. It was nip tuck!
I think its funny that peyton is in the broncos ring of fame and went into the hall of fame as a bronco lives in denver and recruiting for the broncos hence Russell Wilson
@@317ermac are you nuts? 3rd overall, 2nd in pass defense, held Patrick Mahomes to a 50 something qb rating and his worst game of the season. How is this a trash defense? We have the best secondary in the league, we just lack our elite pass rush without Von Miller.
As a Washington fan the 2015 game against the Panthers left me feeling very salty. I was glad the Broncos prevented Cam and the Panthers from dancing and shit. Great video 👍👍
@@OmniXenO, oh, then if Talib leaped UP and Edelman was not behind Talib, then why was the pass OVER TALIB until he leaped up and tipped it, when Gronk headed to the endline?
Crazy to think that the Broncos won this Super Bowl just in time before slipping into the abyss for the last seven years. Hopefully they'll be back soon.
Defense carried this team & Manning struggled a lot during the season. But he led the NFL in GW’ing Drives (5) & was 8-1 in one score games. He was a shell of his former self but he typically did what he had to do late in games in 2015 except for one game (vs IND).

Elway did a hellck of a job picking up veteran free agents that 2015 season, but his drafting during his time as GM/PRES., especially selecting qbs, was abysmal, made me go for the Pepto Bismol..
@@maxchobian6630, are you related to Max Choboian, the 1966 BRONCOS roster qback who played only in a handful of games, dying eventually of lung cancer in 1977 at age 34?
Keep seeing comments of the best defense in nfl history. I’m a huge Broncos fan. But even I don’t think it was the greatest to ever live (85 bears or 2000 Ravens is #1). I can’t be bias but 15’ Denver in my opinion was for sure top 5 in my opinion. Better than the Seahawks in 13. One of the worst offenses in 2015 and still won a super bowl, talent
They had to carry a busted offense scheme against Brady, Roethlisberger, and prime MVP Newton in the playoffs to an SB victory lol, not to mention they held Rodgers to 77yds. Definitely one of the best defense ever.
They may not be the best ever but they were pretty impressive. Our offense really couldn’t do much our defense carried them. We were balanced good DL vs the run could create a push and inside pass rush with Wolfe, Williams and Jackson. Of course Miller and Ware off the edge were a great duo. Our off ball inside linebackers were good in run support and Danny Trevethan was very good in pass coverage. Secondary was really good 3 starting caliber cornerbacks in Talib, Harris and Roby, TJ Ward brought toughness at strong safety Darian Stewart good deep safety. That unit really didn’t have any weakness.
Offense was middle of the pack. It was not terrible. Kubiak played as was his career m.o., everything close to the vest, very conservative, and let the D win the game.
