Hahaha! I like how you're anticipating many viewers to complain about how "it's a 4 cylinder mustang, it's junk" however you easily corrected it in your videos. Especially where you said that it's more of a sports car instead of a muscle car and that it's still a fun car despite what you might think. That's very accurate and I needed to hear that, because I agree with you, I'm a V8 guy at heart and it's disappointing to see them slowly become more rare and expensive. However, this doesn't make the new mustang a bad thing. It's a totally different animal. You could own the gt and the ecoboost and have so much fun with both!
Most professional car reviews on youtube forsure! I have had my 16 Ecoboost for almost a year now and still take a look back at it every time i park it! Its now a tuned F.B.O car and is a beast!
I’ve gone back and watched older reviews. One day an S550 will be in my garage. A GT is still out of my range so as long as I can have fun in an Ecoboost I’ll be happy. Good review, you are easy to follow.

I've been watching your videos for years, and this is by far one of your best reviews! I was so tempted to get a GT, I'm a V8 guy at heart, but I just could not justify it since I'm not racing, and only doing city driving. I think Ford hit the nail on the head with the mustang ecoboost, to have a sporty daily driver. I picked up the 2023 ecoboost premium 6 months ago, and it still puts a smile on my face. However I wish Ford didn't name it the ecoboost, I wish it was called the mustang turbo.
This is by far my favorite exterior on an american car to date. I would do anything to have this beautiful yellow piece of machinery. And fully loaded for 37,000? That's absolutely AMAZING. !
+Viktor Freesmeier after a while the Ecoboost looses its pizzaz after a couple months but when its tuned honest to god i really cannot tell the difference between the two the torque when tuned is monsterous.
got the ford performance tune in my ecoboost and it definitely keeps pulling past 5k rpms finally!!!! i definitely dont miss the gt lol i dont have to live at the gas station anymore. I grew up on hondas and subarus im definitely loving the ecoboost platform
American cars are very driver oriented and have really stepped up in overall quality & experience since the 2000s. They still can't beat German in driving experience, Korean bang 4 buck or Japanese in reliability, but American is stepping up their game little by little.
Hey Kyle, I've been watching your videos basically since you started on RU-vid and I'd like to say your videos are great and unique, but please do not start trying to get rid of little things such as showing the hazard lights on while touring around the vehicle and smart key access systems and even steering the wheel back and forth with honking the horn. +computergames5 Hey man, thanks for writing to me! You don't have to worry, I will never be getting rid of all those details. That is what makes my videos special. The only reason I didn't show the hazards was because I couldn't show the fog lights simultaneously. As you probably saw, I did show the sequential turn signals. I already covered the GT, so there is no point in being redundant when people can check out the other video for added detail. Focus on what makes the Ecoboost unique. I don't show the smart key systems because everyone pretty much knows how to use it by now, but I will say whether the car has it or not in the future. It's 20-30 seconds that people are skipping over. I'm trying to make my videos more enjoyable and informative while maintaining their uniqueness. RT. 4.8 sec 0-60 its 4000 lb but still has 375 hp and 410 ft/lb. Also the 8 speed transmission is wicked quick. But if you are going to spend that much money on an rt might as well do a GT.
Darkmorningsun I'm really not sure that 0-60 is accurate, I've tested in ideal conditions the rt does 0-60 in 5.5-5.8 seconds with an auto or a manual, the eco boost Mustang is at that 5.5 second threshold with the auto or manual. Both cars are great but if you tune an eco boost with an unleashed tune downpipe and asimple exhaust this car will push close to 400 crank hp and 400wtq really impressive for 2k in parts and work you could realistically do on your own. After that in perfect conditions on a drag strip on street tires you can get a mid 12 second quarter mile which is insane especially for a 4 cylinder car!
The only 4-cylinder sounding better (in my opinion) is the A/CLA 45 AMG ones, which also has got the best horsepower/litre capacity- ratio of a 4-cylinder in the world (180 hp per litre). But the Ecoboosts performance to everyday- suitability-ratio, its design, price and recognition value making it an interesting alternative to the european competitors. I like it!
Bryan Kendall You are right, I referred to the 4-cylinder sound.I have to admit that the Ecoboosts exhaust does not sound as nice as the Abarth does. Its the soundgenerator which generates the blubbering-like sound inside the Mustang which I like. If you would modify the Mustangs exhaust we could speak about this issue again, until that you are right.

That is one fast four banger! At first I didn't like the new mustangs, because they no longer look like a 'muscle car'. I even thought from an angle looking at the back with a partial view of the side it looks a lot like a 'bulkier' version of the Porsche 911. The more I have seen these on the highways and what not they have really started to grow on me. Even though I still don't think it looks like a mustang anymore or a muscle car, it looks more sophisticated like a modern sports car. I especially like the view from the side.
Can't recall the last car I was in that had a 'collar' reverse. In the mid 80s my Mum had a white Dodge Caravan with a manual and it had that ring... lol. It was hilarious. Yep, Caravans had a manual option.
This car seems fun to drive, plus loos great, some people hating cause it's only a 4 cyl, I drive a cobra but would love to own one of this beauties, exhaust won't never sound like a v8 but that's ok I will get better mpg instead, thanks for the video.
Cristian Calle I know the feeling, I have a ls1 camaro and love the v8 rumble but my ecoboost mustang is perfect for daily driving and has great power for a 4cylinder. I got it tuned by Ford so now it makes 335hp-390trq so it's much more potent than stock. Will it replace the v8? NO, if you want V8 rumble then get a V8. Does the ecoboost make a great sports car? Yes...Hell yes, especially with 3 pedals.
The exhaust does sound terrible...but you have to realize what the exhaust is being used for...it's feeding a very efficient and powerful twin scroll turbo (maximizes the exhaust pulses to extract as much energy from the exhaust as possible) The downside? It sounds worse than even other 4cyl turbo's, such as the wrx or evo. But, the upside? 310 hp and 320 tq from a 2.3 liter engine.
I like the car. The fact it's a 4 cilinder doesn't matter to me. Fuel consumption is as important as built quality, safety, handling and power is to me.
I've driven the V8 and EcoBoost engine, and while I love the EcoBoost and I might would choose it over the 5.0, it needs an exhaust note badly. When I drove it, all I heard was turbo whistle. I did not experience much of the electronic sound enhancement unless the engine was above 4000 rpm, and before you hear fake engine noise, you hear turbo whistle. Still, a great car though.
Ok, it's pretty, has a good design! Yellow and black look, love it. Has stick!! looll Also like the interiors and the way the engine sounds inside the car, while driving!
They're very affordable used. It's either this or an s197 4.6. I want the sound of a v8, but this is newer, more powerful, and gets better mpg. I still have a year or two.
My 14 GT also includes the 3 electronic steering modes..not something new for 15 as much as ford may want to push that. Same goes for the pony puddle lights. Enjoy

Be aware everyone, this is the absolute base model in the mustang line up, I’m not saying anyone that would wants one is bad but please note the SN#18 will be dropping the eco boost inline 4 for a more powerful vertical twin overhead cam v6
While the latest Mustang looks like something from 1969-73, it also reminds me of those from 1994-2004. I like the new 2015 pony car better than the 2005-14 cars. Now, if only the 2016 Chevy Camaro could look more "up to date." That's my point of view.
I agree, so many people are saying the Camero is better but I think the only American car I'd rather have than the Mustang GT convertible is a new Corvette convertible
