The daughter of the driver was born on May 24th, and in this particular province the Victoria day holiday is commonly known as May 2-4 ( pronounced "May Two-Four" ), something along the lines of that.
Because these are all junkyard cars, you don't smash up a car that runs well. All it needs to be able to do is drive well enough to smash other cars for ten minutes, if it can do that, why put any more time and money into a car you know you're just going to completely destroy beyond repair.
If you have a trained ear, you will hear a lot of these cars do run very well. Don't forget they have cut most of the exhaust off...open pipes coming out of the hood, these cars can be 3 times louder than a full exhaust system. We've always done this in demos because you want to hear and feel yourself start back up if you stall out during the race as well as it sounds cool and radical.
Ya think the drivers would get together and make this show decent.. naw just be sure to pull a couple body roll fuel injected doughnuts and call it a SUkSESs..the show blows someone please help these guys they waste enough cars to someday make a decent show....the. guy who runs the 88 needs to spill the beans
