Now that's how a video should be made and put up. Showing exactly what was done and what it'd gonna be like in all situations ( start ups, take offs etc). Thanks for doing it right
Just did it with my 2014 5.3 but I kept the muffler, I got a 93 tune on it with bigger injectors and a cold air intake, I got the flowmaster outlaw muffler, and I do say so my self it sounds absolutely insane!! Not to mention performance increase it’s a runner for sure not many trucks out there unless they’re turbo Charged can keep up lol
Having bigger injectors is pointless. The only "performance" would be the 93 tune and the cold air intake provided its actually a type that adds power since most dont.
Almost got the same setup on mine I did a side dual exhaust. And mine has a little more aggressive tone since there’s no tailpipe going all the way to the back of the truck. But yours sounds really good
DMND90s I had a flow master super 10 and it sounded good on my old setup that I use to have but I took it off when I did the setup I have now cuz I liked the way it sounded without 1 but whatever you decide to do post a vid of it I’d be lit to see how yours sounds
Jared Estrada sorry for the late response but yeah there was a big difference especially since I have a side exit dual exhaust. the cold starts are amazing plus if you have all the windows down it’s a great to hear
@@owenwall4776 as far as sound yeah it does. Before I deleted my 3rd cat I had that same setup. I’m my opinion it sounds a lot better with the 3rd cat gone. Hope this helps
I have a 2010 GMC Sierra with the 3rd cat out my questions is would a muffle delete do anything for me or would I need to get it straight piped ( I’m trying to be able to beat the box if you know what that’s )
I have a 5.3 w a three inch pipe going all the way to the third cat and I was looking to make my truck louder but wondering how much removing that cat would kill the tone
I’ve seen where people have cut there 3rd cat off and have had no problems. And some people who have. I’m indifferent on doing it. But I really want to. I just don’t want a check engine light coming on or my gas mileage going down
@@DMND90s So that second to lady last cat up front is good to take off then? I also saw on the comments that shifting was a little weird or so? wanted more info on how it changed?
I have a 2015 and mine does too. It's the oil pump. Not anything to worry about mechanically, but it's annoying for sure. static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2019/MC-10160134-9999.pdf
I much louder you think taking off 3rd cat is from just muffler and resonator delete. I have muffler and resonator delete but thinking bout taking off 3rd cat.
Bro by you removing that 3rd cat it’s gonna make your truck sound like a damn Camaro flying down the road it technically makes the truck 10xs louder I personally love the aggressive loudness
Oh shit thats wassup, I would do it, but I went to an exhaust shop and the guy said he would take the cat off but technically he can't put it back on since its been "tampered" with. It sucks they emissions test where I live 😭
