This is such a wonderful record of The Band's Triumphal Year I cannot watch it with dry eyes! The young lady trumpeter who has to play the opening solo is so worried she will mess it up and spoil The Band's chances in their Most Important performance of the year (maybe their lives!). But the "Formidable" Cony just tells her "Look at Me, you'll be fine". And she does - And She NAILS IT!! And I'm reaching for the tissues! I've just about composed myself when it gets to the awards - And They WIN!! And my heart bursts with Pride for them! People ask "What is it about this band?" I say just watch this video! Many, many Thanks Kris for this Lovely reaction I know it mirrors that of Tachibana Fans around the World. Love from The U.K.

I hope they know how massively popular they are, and that their efforts help so many. WHO can watch this band perform and not smile? I spoke just today with a person who has a physical ailment that is a tremendous mental burden and frustration, and watching THIS BAND brings JOY to her...

5:50 The trumpet soloist was nervous and scared so the DM told her not to look at the audience but instead to look at her only during the solo. I think it helped because she did a great job.

@@EverydaywithKris Hi Ms. Kris, I watched this video again, today too. You reminded me that I got " teary eyed " again too. Watching this, I'm trying to recall if the " Mobile Kit-Drum Contraption " Player was in the Snare Drumline of the 2018 Tournament of Roses Parade. Ms. Cony the Drum Major was. I recall a comment made by Ms. Co-ma-re ((114th ) the Center Snare Drummer of the 2018 Tournament of Roses Parade ) , that this Snare Drummer (( 112th ) 2015 ), her Sen-pai, she considered her to be a more gifted drummer than she. Ms. Co-ma-re must have admired her very much. This such a wonderful Band. They have such an interesting story. I'm happy that many Alumni continue on with the Kyoto Tachibana Family Band, O-VILS, YUNON House, Yaragi and other bands d:)
