I drive a 2015 Kia Optima LX, and I’ve been considering doing a muffler delete and this just sealed the deal! Honestly this is exactly what I want my Optima to eventually be.
@@alocasio5896 I never got to it cause right before I was gonna do it the downstream cat went and the replacement cat even just to ship to my house was more than the value of the car. Enjoy yours while you can, and be prepared to dump literal thousands of dollars into repairs down the road.
@@thatclappedkia they were that expensive everywhere I looked because they were California emissions cats. The trade in value on it was 5k and just to have a cat shipped to the dealer would have been 3-4k. Doesn’t help that you can’t even buy a Cali emissions cat in NYS anymore.
Did you do this yourself or did you take it somewhere? And if so whats the place called? Im from Virginia too and im looking in to doing this to my optima as well
