Bought my kia optima 2011 ex turbo new about 4 1/2 years ago. Only had one minor problem with the steering wheel. LOVE my optima...wish I ponyed up for the sx for the little bit of polish it has but love it just the same. 63k miles on it so far.
just for those who wish to know, a 3inch exhaust and a downpipe will make this car worth it. my 14 sxl has intake, BOV and exhaust, woke the car right up. strut tower brace is next to improve the curvy road experience.
+FutureSEAL23 Cool. How much would all that cost for a 2015 SX Turbo with installation and taxes? . Gains in hp? Do you use reg or premium fuel? Thanks
My exhaust was CX Racing and cost around $500 next was the same company intake and bov kit which was $350. I'd say you'd get about 300hp compared to the 274hp stock. I put the parts in myself so you'd have to check with your local mechanics for install costs.
@Joseph Kwabena i bought one 3 months ago, it had about 95k miles since then i had to change the engine, i had oil leaks, i had AC issues and even after changing the engine, it kept failing and turning off while i was driving, dont buy one, you'll only get problems worst engine kia/hyundai made
Had a 2014 model loaned to me and it looked nice on the outside but the ride was trash with 0 power from the engine....had to floor it to pass people at 40 mph...Not quite up to par on the 'value' aspect for me. Amenities are cool but I need performance out of a car. No thanks
"Set it and forget it"? Big problem now a days. Too much multi tasking. I own this model car and no such thing as set it and forget it. Pay attention to the road.
