This job has a fairly high difficulty rating. I give you credit because I am a former MB tech and hate doing these. I did one today and I can see all of the areas where a novice will either forget to reconnect a connector, hose or break a plastic line. There are so many places where this can go badly.
@@AlexTheMechanicha! Book time is 2.3 for intake and 3.1 to go all the way and do the thermostat. Didn’t sound right to me, so I wrote it up for 6 because…experience.
Car was overheating but in the end it was the water pump the issue Dealer told the customer to change both pump and thermostat .. i decided to do the thermostat only to start but had to change the water pump the next day .. i also done a video how to change the pump Have fun!

Hey Alex, what were the torque specs on the intake ..... i have put that intake on 3 to 4 times and I'm getting misfires on cylinders 1 and 4 ...... intake leak.
I honestly did not torque the intake .. i would say on top of my head 8ft/lbs if they are m6 bolts You should check the gasket first if its really an intake leak
