I would say the semifinal in 2009 against app state in the snow at wa griz was a larger and overall better game. That was one of those games that helped get FCS a bit more recognition, game ran long and a bunch of people tuning in for sports center watched most of the 4th quarter.
I lived in Missoula way back and so the the grizzlies have a special place in my heart for them ,but I was raised in North Dakota so it's definitely the Bison for me!!!!!
Me too. Born and bred in California, but I spent three special years of my life in the late 80's at U of M, which will always be a part of me. Enjoyed the brand new Washington-Grizzly stadium, the atmosphere, and the very un-California football weather. In Missoula, the Griz was happenin' on any Saturday in Fall. Seemed like the whole town was in the stadium or in one of the bars nearby. Still love Montana and the Griz.
