Come with me as we preview this Classic Skipjack 262 Fly bridge vessel. We start off with a view of her leaving the slip. Then “SNAKE OIL” slowly shows off her lines on the water with a quick view of her from all sides.
Once back in the slip we start at the bow moving down the starboard to the transom. We board the vessel then check out the cockpit where one could add a few lounge chairs and enjoy the view under the extended shade.
At the enclosed fly bridge we have a bucket seat for the captain and a double wide companion seat. The helm is sized for a full 360 degree line of site and all the gauges are within easy reach of the vessel operator. To help you find the big ones, there is a Garmin 7212 unit with radar, chart-plotter, GPS and Sonar/Fish finder. The vessel is well equipped with a stainless steel radar arch and can be set up with "rocket launchers", The large 64+ square foot cockpit is fishable for 4,
The interior is bright with windows all around. The port-side booth dinette is oversized and converts to a large sleeping area. The forward section is a large berth for 2 with storage underneath. There is a galley with a single burner butane stove, a sink and refrigerator. Note the teak dish rack on the wall. There is a good sized head with an electric toilet and a shower wand.
The interior has removable carpet and the interior deck is finished with a non-skid: the complete interior, walls and ceiling is finished fiberglass. Easy to clean up after the big catches. It’s how you want a fishing boat!
This is a classic fishing boat with an open cockpit, high rails & coaming pads to lean into fighting the fish and room for customization.” Snake Oil” is very well powered by a single Volvo D6-300 Diesel Engine and a Dou-Prop Outdrive. She’s a low use vessel with less than 125 hours on her.
