Notes from my experience with my Model 3 from 2019. There is a massive benefit for road trips to full charge a few times the week leading up to the trip. This allows the car to top balance the battery. This can from my experiences adds around 3-4% of actual useable capacity. I know people hate full charging but once in a wheel it's a good idea to let the pack top balance itself. I've had swings in my cars range after 3 full charges over a week my range estimate jumping from like 283 to 293 miles.
