Ever wonder why your tires on your GM Truck or SUV keep wearing out? It may be because of bad Cam Bolts! ****PLEASE SUBSCRIBE FOR MORE VIDEOS**** / @jefflyle
I hope you get yours fixed. If it turns out to be something else than it was in my case, post back here so we can all learn from it. Thanks for watching and best of luck!
Finally, a fellow 2015 Denali owner!! Thank you so much for sharing that video. I think I will go ahead and replace my cam bolts as well, but is that ball joint permanently pressed in that upper control arm or can you press it out? I also have to do the lower ball joints and am told those can be pressed out. Thanks again!!
@@JeffLyle ok, I wasn’t sure because seems like most people replace the upper control arms as well. Not to mention just the upper ball joints are few and far between. Thanks again!!
@@cwsosby I just did a little more digging on this. It looks like you may be right. I can only find ball joints for the uppers if the arms are steel. The ball joints in the aluminum arms don't appear to be replaceable. If you happen to find something different, let me know.
@@JeffLyle Ah, that makes sense. I appreciate you letting me know as I was getting discouraged. I’m thinking Mevotech’s TTX for uppers here and I would like to do OE original for lowers but think a special tool is required to flare the top of that ball joint. I do know they don’t have a retaining clip, but maybe it’s not necessary 🤷🏻♂️.
