My 2017 Silverado has a dip stick. If it does the dip stick tube flows into the pan. There is no plug and you can fill into the dip stick tube.

How did you measure if you have too much fluid?

Mine is 2016 it does have the dipstick, i just change the oil and filter but still the same doing weirds jumps in low gears. If i did the transmission oil change and is full of new fluid im not able to add any other lubricant right? I mean I dont want overflow and get a different issue later. What do you think?

Why not pour it through the transmission dip stick ?
