I work in the autobody trade and am really curious on how were going to be repairing those roofs now with the laser weld. I assume ordering a roof would come with the roof and the roof rail already together and a person would replace it all and splice it into the quater panel, any word on this video poster?

I am pretty informed on the 2016 Camaro and i watched your video to see if you in fact knew anything that i did not already know. and i was surprised you did. I thought the camaro was all new no parts carry over but you got me on the bowtie and SS emblem, one fact you may not know the eng is from the vette but the vette is rated at 455 hp and 460 ft lbs torque, whereas the camaro is rated at 455 hp and 455 tq, not sure why they did that, but you did a good job on the video. thanks

for daily use mustang all day, track camaro hands down. but I rarely make it to a track sadly. the interior has a odd layout for things like the vents. during the summer the vent freezes your hand off and during the winter the vent heats your hand off. anyone else find the vents in the camaro are in a odd location? I love the tac display though. definitely an improvement over previous camaros. mustang interior is perfect to me, my issues with that car is to small of a fuel tank and stock it could use some more torque. also the stock Springs on the track pack are way to bouncy over bumps. both awesome cars though at the end of the day.

How's the visibility in the car? That's honestly my biggest concern being a bigger guy. More room is usually kinda of an issue. Just curious. Thanks for the vid.

im just still inlove with the 2010-2013 rear. To me it's just perfect. Don't get me wrong the 2014-2016s are sick ! Just my hearts with the Old Gens ❤️ Overall the 2016 is one mean looking camaro!

hammie, what is the brand of those frames you have? ?

Anybody else not too thrilled about the rear spoiler? Idk, maybe it's just me but it looks out of place. I think it would look better without one, or maybe with a more subtle lip spoiler. Also the hood vents look like open flesh wounds but again, this might just be my opinion haha. Everything else looks pretty nice. I'm a big fan of the performance exhaust option as well, and those wheels are pretty good looking also.

is that the coolant overflow bottle that has the red fluid. let me guess they finally decided that dexcool was crap and now they have some other new and experimental coolant that will cause drivers problems down the road. i have 3 GM cars that all would have come with dexcool, i have a 2000 GTP, a 1999 bonneville and a 1996 camaro Z28. all of them had factory dexcool which i flushed out and replace with yellow universal type. maybe they should use that or green from the factory, nearly every more modern coolant comes with more problems.

FYI You can still powerslide...with 455hp that should be easy. You just can't e-brake slide anymore, or induce via e-brake.

What is great about constantly changing generations besides its appeal to mouth breathers is buying parts and its overall effect on resale!

Did this guy just look to the left of him for the handbrake? The handbrake was never between the seat and the door on the left side. It was and always has been on the right side of the seat where the center is.

In my opinion, the car look like it came straight from Europe. It's a beautiful car all in all, and it looks very flashy, but it's just not the same American Muscle look that so many people desire. I appreciate what the people of Chevrolet are trying to do with the asthetics of the new gen Camaro, but maybe they're trying too hard. I own a 2012 SS and im in love with the look and sound! Let the hate begin!

It is not sound enhancement. It is synthetic sound produced to make the v-8 sound better in cabin, does nothing for the exterior exhaust note. I hate that manufacturers are doing this.

the single muffler has got to go. it looks like a gas tank,and a 3rd and 4th Gen setup. hopefully there is an aftermarket that is available for a "dual muffler" system.

Was the horrendous build quality and engineering carried over from the last 35 years of GM vehicles also? Are owners still going to be on a first name basis with the local dealership service writer?

The rear end just doesn't look right. Maybe wing delete will fix it. these cars are a little cramped in the inside. the back seats are useless. I was able to get 2 car seats in the mustang, zero in the camaro. I like to take the kids for a joy ride on the weekends and that was a deal breaker for me. it's still a nice car but the rear end definitely needs some help.

I want the Camero to have an evil step sister. We need a Fire bird / Trans Am model. Yes I'm familiar with the Pontiac badge. I still bleed from that cut but Chevrolet can make a "Fire bird Camero" and even a "Trans Am Camero" Or GM can just make the Fire bird brand with exclusivity. That would enable the vehicle to take on more radical changes and still remain the same. I just think that the Camero is taking a long time evolving. That New body style... I dont care anyone says, It looks the same. I am a Chevy man. Been a Chevy man. I race between lights and on weekends. I watch every vid on pony car comparisons produced and played on Utube. First thing that needs to happen is the listed HP. The number to beat is what ever the hellcat has, even by 1. One single digit, one additional hp would drive sales. I know it doesn't matter as far as performance goes... but it does. That body's fantastic, however when a person that ins't very familiar with it says Hey Now! Have you seen that new Camero? Then you have a new Camero. Example is the Corvette the changes it has taken on in the last few years are insane, It still looks similar to the previous year vettes but its not the same at all. FIRE BIRD! Phoenix back from the ashes! A Trans Am with 800 hp would crush it. Globally! Great performance numbers but that Walmart Rubbermaid interior has got to go. been like that for ever. indeed its a little faster in the 1320 than a Mustang but the interior on the Stang is far better in fit and finish and dosent have that rental car feel like the Camaro. The Corvette has changed to a more modern qaulity interior to match its performance glad to see after 50 plus years.

my only problem with camaro or Gm for that matter is hat there is too much unnecessary tech in these cars.

i had a 2010 ss camaro and it looked way better than the new one. i hate the exterior. the interior is nice ill give it that but the new ones look like shit to me.

I can't really explain what it is, but I'm not happy at all with the new look for the 2016 Camaro. I LOVE the interior, but the exterior is just not working for me. I'm a PROUD 2015 Camaro ZL1 owner, so I was expecting something a lot better than this.
