Yep, * remove trickeration (twice in this game) and Saban doesn't win. Yes, it's part of the game, but come on. Saban knew he was beat. * remove the despised, now defunct, BCS and Saban has how many NCs? * if Colt McCoy (TX) doesn't go down 6 plays into game, does Saban win that game? * 12-0 Bama against a 7-0 OSU. In what reality should that game ever have happened. * Bama against ND? What! * LSU vs OU. If the same formula was applied to the BCS before that year or after that year, LSU would have faced USC, not Big Lame Bob Stoops. Only 2015 is legit

Not the mentioned all the times they had players lining up in the neutral zone that wasnt called? Everyone of Nick Saban's are legitimate and he is without a doubt the great coach in college football history and it's not even close. You are absolutely 100% a hater.
Eh I’m gonna strongly disagree. Oj Howard an absolute bulldozer in Derrick Henry and a defense littered with nfl players. These days Alabama’s quarterback play has gotten on par with the rest of its team but with this team the skill players and the line were the strength. Coker was ok but he’s nothing more than a game manager surrounded by monsters (see Greg McElroy, aj McCaron)
First off, this was a great game by both teams. But man that Bama team that year was stacked... Derrick Henry, Kenyan Drake, Calvin Ridley, OJ Howard, Marlon Humphrey, Reuben Foster, Deshawn Hand, Minkah Fitzpatrick, Eddie Jackson, the list goes on and on. It’s no surprise they won the natty bc they basically had a team full of NFL stars. It just goes to show you how special Watson was that year because he shredded that defense for almost 500 total yards
@@rolltide9897 Any fool watching this game knew Saban was scared sh*tless of Clemson down the stretch so he had to revert to trickeration. Need proof, watch the game the next year. Nobody believed Bama was gonna stop Clemson on that last drive. And they didn't. Drove it down Bama's throat.
Great to watch the game again! So many stars on the field on both sides. Watson is a beast, Henry was a beast, Howard was phenomenal and a game changer, and the game lived up to all the hype. Thanks for posting and Roll Tide Roll!!!!
Still enjoy watching highlights from the game. Two GREAT teams trading blows! The Drake kick return was the difference. That play ranks up there as one of the greatest in Tide history!
Here we are in 2020 and so many of the players from both of these teams are either good, or decent players in the NFL and a few of these guys are really good NFL players. This was a very strong national championship game.

It’s Christmas Day and the lord is good 2021 preying that coach saban can add to his storied run he will more than likely retire after one more championship but I love him for what he did for the state of Alabama merry Christmas
This is one of the best National Championship Games ever. What a performance by both teams and that decision for the onside kick by Saban is one of the clutchest, most ballsy plays in CFB history. That play is what won Alabama this game because Clemson had momentum and was getting the ball back with a tie game. This allowed Alabama to get ahead of the score before giving it back to Clemson and then when they held Clemson to the field goal that Kenyan Drake kick return was killer for Clemson. Kinda cool how the roles reversed the year after (Alabama was the top seed) and Clemson avenged this loss in another hard fought, close game against Alabama.
What an awesome game only to be followed by heartbreak the next year. Deshaun Watson is incredible. Any other QB would have gotten destroyed by Bama's 2016 defense. Bama was controlling the game with Bo S but when he broke his leg the offense sputtered. Which led to the D being left on the field way too much. And Deshaun Watson vs a tired D isn't going to end well. Jalen Hurts showed mad guts on Bama's final drive to lead Bama to the go-ahead score though.
Clemson ultimately got away with a comically blatant pick play where the receiver basically dove into a defensive player's legs. If officiating calls that then Bama likely 3-peats 2015, 16, and 17.
@@EulogyfortheAngels With fair officiating, Georgia wins in 2017. The officials were horrible in favor of Bama. In the 2016 game, the pick plays were obvious, but Bama got away with a lot more than Clemson in that game.
@@willriley994 Georgia didn't lose because of poor officiating. They weren't able to put away Alabama when they had control over the game in the 1st half and Nick Saban put Tua in their to tie the game into overtime. Georgia scored a field goal on their first possesion and sacked Tua to make it 2nd and like 25 and Tua threw a missile into the endzone. Georgia had so many chances to win that game and didn't capitalize.

tide got the iron bowl next week witch we will win then the SEC championship vs Georgia witch we will win then all we got to do is beat the 4th seed and whoever is in the title game and sabans got his 5th ROLL TIDE
Alabama is the goat because they have continued to win nattys and clemson hasnt. Clemson needs another decade or more of being at the top to even be in the discussion
If they had a better qb the next year they probably beat Clemson in the rematch. But that's kinda the point of the teams; Let's say coaching is both eilte, Bama had the elite roster talent and good QB, Clemson had the elite QB and good roster talent.
14:15 #57 DJ Pettway destroys the LT and Deshaun Watson. Watson still completes the throw unfortunately. I watched Watson for 2 year as a Bama fan and thought he was the best QB in college during those years. I hadn’t a clue who Pat Mahomes was and Trubisky??? Watson might of had it easy in the ACC besides Florida St and Louisville, but he lit up Bama twice. Those defenses might’ve given up 40 here and Ole Miss the year after but don’t let that fool ya, these Bama defenses were GREAT. I don’t think there was one player who didn’t get drafted within the 2015 and 2016 Alabama defenses. Roll Tide!
This is the year where most college football fans checked out and the tv ratings have nosedived since. Because even the casual college football fan knew a scam when they saw it, when Will Grier and Florida were clearly the best team in 2015 and were about to become a dynasty. And then all of a sudden, he gets suspended for a year for taking vitamins. What a joke. But now you know why this sport is dead. 🤷🏻♂️
