I might be late to the party but I highly appreciate you mentioning the sound system being amazing, no one ever critiques a cars sound system! I’ve rented this car for a weekend road trip and plan to listen to some techno! Thanks!
great review. the info you gave really helped me make my decision in purchasing my very own v6 2016 camero. thanks so much! keep up the good work. 10/10. so wow. much review. would rate again.
your information is well formatted. I loved that you actually vot in the back seat and gave info in that position. i look forward to sharing your info.
finally i found a vid of this car holy molly, i have a 2018 rs with a 6 cylinder turbo and this 2016 is close enough because all of the other vids are the stock v6 not the rs package, thank you
Great review of the car. As a 370z owner, I must admit that the Gen 6 Camaro's have a more refined interior and absolutely brilliant technology and performance packages. It reminds of my 2nd car, Fiat 500 Abarth. Might make the switch from a 370z to a Camaro V6 1LE RS or wait for the Camaro Turbo 1LE RS in 2019... :)
You give a much better review than most i, ve seen about this 6 gen camaro. I want this car so bad, and yes i would rather have the v6 rs, not that there, s anything wrong with owning a v8. Again keep up the good work and thanks again
Thanks for the video review. This looks like it might be a solid upgrade to my FRS at some point. I love the V8 but I can't justify laying down 40,000$ for it and this engine looks great with the 7,000RPM redline.
So what you're saying is you can't justify actually paying for performance? You can't justify doing 0-60 in 4 seconds and 1/4 of 12 seconds? Consider this. If you were to buy a brand new 1989 Camaro SS with 2016 money, it would cost $40k! Seems to me you sure are getting a lot these days for $40k considering the performance and technology that comes with it. Never mind the fact that the 2016 SS beats a $80k BMW M4. Ridiculous that people want performance, but never want to pay for it.
It's not that they don't want to pay for it, it's that they can't, and they don't need it. I drove a V6 Camaro - MORE than enough for my daily driving needs. I can't imagine how hard it is to not step on the pedal in the SS V8.
masterwhopper414 That's not evolvement but BLASPHEMY!!! They arent sportscars, they DONT HAVE TO BE, they have their own qualities, and soul, passion, they're bougth and admired by a whole other kidn of people, the TRUE petrolheads who like raw and bonkers. Like my lady-friend. She's into these brash simple growling 'hick' cars with an attitude. Coupes or pick-up. Camaros and Mustangs are muscle cars and thats what they ALWAYS should be. Without digital rubbish, eco-shit, stupid gadgets and gismos, with SIX or less speeds, not too comfortable, crazy, RWD driftcars with a loud engine and not too much refinement. But because the Eurotrash (i'm European so not biased) is seen as the big example, the benchmark with their flimsy downsize engines, eco-fascist modes, nerdy ipad systems, gay drive aids and plush dashboards the American cars have to be like this too???? FUCK OFF! What's wrong with diversity? Let Germans be Germans and Yanks be Yanks. I'm glad Trump got power because dumbass marketing shit like this will soon end and the global warming scam revealed and unhealthy digitisation IN BLOODY EVERYTHING of our lives, will be put to a halt. American things will be back the way they were, THEIR OWN IDENTITY. USA used to influence the other West, and not the other way around.
Thanks for your comment. As you might have read in the description of my channel, my video reviews are meant to focus on the highlights and weak points of a car. They are not meant as full reviews. For the full written review of this car, check out my website: www.girlsdrivefasttoo.com I did, however, mention that the 2016 Camaro is built on a new lightweight platform.
I noticed you mentioned an Apple UI system in the car... So did Chevy completely neglect android users or can I hook android devices up to it too? This Apple thing kinda pisses me off sometimes.
Is a 4 cylinder turbo worth it for a full time student/part time worker?? I want a v6 at least but gas will kill me but I don't want a 4 cylinder if I can't even enjoy the little power it has...
I think it's totally worth it! I am in the same vote as you are, I am a student and work part time and I love it! I don't regret it one bit! And the gas isn't too bad, the insurance is the pain in the ass.
should have mentioned it is an 2LT o.o cause the 1LT does not have leather seats or the interior lighting also the 8 inch touch mylink is standard on the 2LT but part of an 800 dollar Technology Package option i liked your review but if you're talking about options and the general car you should have added this into it incase someone sees this and is willing to buy you should have mentioned pricing too a lot of reviews i see never break down pricing it seems not well informed if it is a "review" should mention things like this but minusing out the options listed the base price between a 1LT and a 2LT is a little under 5 grand but still a little research and alittle talking about it would help your reviews in the future i could break down all pricing but lol naw just letting you know oh also did not mention the V6 is an option too the "base" camaro has an I4 twin turbo you mentioned the V8 but never the I4 Twin Turbo should have mentioned this is the middle motor option the 1,600 dollar option hope this helps all the best
My video reviews are not meant as full reviews. They highlight the good an bad of a car as well as important features and driving dynamics. My full reviews are the written ones on my website. If I mentioned everything you just said, the video would be twice as long and no one wants to watch an overly long video.
good video and very good car ;it is a fashion on ouwer streets on Algeria these days but it is very very sheep 9.5 millions of Algerian Dinars...KADATIS from Algeria ;good luck...
The specs per engine comparison are technically very close. However, maintaining the Turbo is costly when the time comes, and it will. The 4 banger sounds awful thou, the V6 sounds WAY better. But in the end the V8 is simply superior.
Firemarioflower the v8 has the same amount of horsepower as the 2016 c7 corvette so I think they incorporated 10 speed on it for it transition more easlily and smoothly between.
They've been making it more similar to a sportscar the oast couple of years. It's lighter, smaller, more sharply shaped like a corvette, and the interior is much more luxury style as opposed to the older models. Just the direction they're going I suppose.
Camaro is a beautiful Car she is a very beautiful women as well hopefully one day I can buy a camaro maybe in 2021 when my car I have now is paidoff Chevy Malibu 2016
I don't see the challenge. I am a Chevy fan, never liked Ford and the Challenger looks great but way over priced for what you get. Can't wait to get my Camaro this summer...
Ususally I don't prefer to see reviews by ladies, but you are an exception. Very professional review. The video quality needs mild improvement. Keep up the good work.
Raja Satyendra What? You can get a used 2016 Camaro RS for $22K. If you make at least $30K a year. You should be able to afford it. If you want to really drive one. Go to a rental car company and rent one. Its not that expensive.
Ryan Belden sporting?😂 it's a v6 with 300hp that's not sporting, the zl1 that's sporting but the v6 is a daily, and trust me manual is so shot for daily especially in traffic
I feel bad for the reviewer. Great video, must be hard being constantly objectified as a woman with many people not focusing on the point of the video. Just a tip, this is a personal review not a commercial. Be yourself, add some character to the review, otherwise it comes off a bit boring. My two cents.
These are for the people that cannot handle the power of the 2k17 zl1 I could handle the power but my wallet couldn’t so I got the fiftieth anniversary edition 2ss
Hey tonight I have a malibu limited ltz 2016 I like the style of the 2015 and 16s limited it look like a mini camaro but the new malibu looks like a peace of crap it's all squished up
that isn't dual exhaust. its the performance exhaust. all of them have dual exhaust, but the performance exhaust has dual outlets per side. I bet if it was a meatloaf recipe you would have gotten that wrong too.
Danny Torres it's a 2lt with rs package. An easy way to tell that it's a 2lt instead of 1lt is that it has leather seats! The 1lt is equipped with cloth. The rs Package is easy to spot with the extra chrome detailing on the grille, and RS badges on the front and rear of the vehicle
