Hey thanks it was a t15 torch wrench my tail gate latch was just frozen but I got it working thanks

Had similar situation - screws were tight, but after four years of use, that white cam wouldn't slide enough to engage the latch pulls. Wound up zip-tying the cam pieces in place so I could still use my tailgate until I sourced a replacement handle. Now find one of my latches is getting rusty, which is probably what's binding my handle when I do go and open the gate. Wonderful...

My latch works, so the gate closes/opens smoothly, but it doesn’t lock (power lock OR manually by key). I plan to take the actuator off so I can take a look to see what is going on beneath it. Thanks for the video.
