You won’t go in depth into acro but sometimes choreographers do like to sprinkle in something like a front walkover or an aerial so they may teach it. Contemporary has become a lot more focused on accuracy and technique than tricks though.
Most contemporary pieces don't have so many acrobatics, that you usually see on competitions and are there to impress I guess? So you can be doing contemporary for years and only do like a couple basic acrobatics, depends on where you go etc. But yes flexibility is always encouraged and practiced
