I really enjoy this car...! Built in 2014 and having it's first kilometer in 2015, this car has endured great torment of all kind. At already 46500 km driving and taking great potholes slam at the front suspensions like a bomb at some 60-80km/h a lot of times now and then (by mistake or carelessness) and after doing a wheels geometry check, guess what..., all the angles are still well within limits. I have never had a car as tough as this one before and I had experience with names like: BMW, VW, Daewoo, Skoda, Seat and others tested. All of those broke sooner or later compared to one another under abusive driving styles, yet this Focus just keeps on digging without a trace of failure. How did they built this car? It ain't cheap, but compared to how performant (power, fuel consumption) and durable it is all around I believe it's the best on this planet balanced to it's price! Long live FORD!
Would you recommend this car ? I recently test drove a 2015 1.0 sedan with the 6 speed manual and I love it. It does have high mileage but it has always had service done on time and at the Ford dealer. Have you had any major issues so far ?
i dont mean to be off topic but does anybody know a method to get back into an instagram account? I somehow forgot my account password. I would love any tricks you can give me!
@Noah Sage i really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now. Takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
how is the noise in the interior? Because I recently test driven a 2017 ford focus st line 1.0 ecoboost and I could not help but notice there was noise coming from under the front passenger over a certain speed (70-80kmh). It seemed as though there was no sound proofing between the car and the road. Maybe it's just me?
I had driven a couple of rental mk3 1.0 Ecoboosts when our Mondeo was being serviced. I really liked the jovial character of the 3-cylinder engine, even the sound. 👍😎 We have now had a manual transmission 182 hp 1.5 Ecoboost 3-cylinder Focus wagon (Vignale trim) for almost 2 years, and I still love the (a bit odd) character of the 3-cylinder engine. (Ok, this has considerably more pull than the 1.0, but the general character is the same.)😍I really hope Ford will make a hybrid Focus with this engine in the future... 😬
