5 years later and with the new civic coming in months; and lots of 1.5T and wheel bearing problems, I can say this is the engine to go. Yes, you'd need a manual, like mine, to get it moving. It is a good car. With only a year of ownership my 2017 civic it's been good. I do recommend you replace the halogen for leds.

Okay now we need to see actual an actual comparisson which engine will be faster. This as the new 2.0 Earth Dreams 158 hp or the old K20 base model of the CSX 160 hp.

@@MrIvsemenyuk i put 75.000miles on the car and gir rid of it but after 6 years i hear that those 1.5 engines are very bad.. they blow headgaskets and they are not reliable

Very Nice car but I think i would prefer the upcoming 2017 Hyundai Elantra, or the Corolla mostly for good value, not that the Honda isn't bad tho. Also again Volume Knobs are only available on the base LX model of every Honda that's how it is with honda.

Did you get a chance to drive the 1.5 turbo and this 2.0? Curious to know what kind of differences you observed in terms of low end speed/acceleration? I would figure that the 2.0 feels better/more responsive.

smaller then the last Gen , the rear floor bump is pretty nonsense, last Gen don't have that , same engine with CVT ,trust me Honda F-Up new models.....

bigger than last Gen best leg room in size, better features than competetors, safe, bump is because it has dual exhaust and it's completely diffrent engine. Best car in its class

You can get built in navigation but with the ex you can pair your smart phone with it and it will display map and navigation from your phone on the 7 inch screen

+SamSlay no clue but it's an add on to the ex model, so you probably looking at a sticker price around $24-$25k, your better off using your iPhone or android device

if you get ex you don't have to buy it. Just plug your phone into the car and it will mirror your phone screen on the car screen and you can use Google maps, music, anythung. but, if you want built in Navi you would have to go to the ex-t. 23k-25k

This car does have Earth Dreams CVT Transmission with Sport Mode and Lower Gear Selection.

Camerons Car Reviews The CVT Transmission of all Honda models is what we called the "Earth Dreams CVT", While Nissan has "XTronic CVT", Mazda has "Skyactiv CVT", and Mitsubishi has "INVECS CVT".
